Chapter 2- Dinner part 1

Jen's POV

We arrived at this huge mansion on top of a hill with a gigantic infinity pool with this garden to die for! I know our house is big, but this is like Queen Elizabeth's castle or something close to that.

"Welcome Mr. Lopez and Ms. Jennifer. So glad to see you again" he knows me??

"I-I'm sorry you are??" I asked

"I am William, the Connick's butler"

"He is also a very good cook and a loyal butler. He's been year for about 18 years here... Am I right?" My dad added

"Yes sir, 18 and a half actually" he smiled

"William are they there yet??" Someone yelled from inside. Judging from his voice I think they have around the same age as my dad.

"Yes sir, they are"

"Dad are you sure we're not gonna meet the queen?" I whispered to him

"No dear, we're not" he giggled

"David we meet again!!"

"Joe!!"

They gave each other a man hug and dad gave me a quick introduction to Mr. Connick and went to the dinning area. As what I expected, every spot in this place is for royalty.

"Hello everyone! Sorry I was late. Traffic." I turned around to look at the guy who just arrived and oh my gosh...

Those blue eyes, kissable lips, built body... I could just go on and on. I swear if I stare at him any longer i might be caught drooling at him.

I looked at his eyes again and was surprised to realize that he was staring back at me. He was staring at ME!!

I broke the gaze and awkwardly smiled at him. Thank goodness he smiled back. That smile doe...

We all sat down and began eating. To be honest, I can't concentrate on my food because he is right infront of me.

After that dinner my dad and Mr. Connick, i mean Joe went to the pool side and left me and him to talk.

We both stared at each other, both shy to say a word. But i decided to break the silence

"Hey... I-um I'm Jennifer" i took my hand out for him to shake

"I'm Gerard. Nice to meet you" he smiled
