Standing Infront of a family she wished she never had to deal with, made her nervous. Sure she knew why she was here but not knowing what they could do made it hard for her to compose herself.

"Please forgive me but, I'll have to decline your offer." She crossed one leg over another, her family being apart of the four major clans made it hard for her to make these decisions.

But she knew this one crossed the line, growing up she saw how the woman in her clan were treated and hearing how the Zenin family treated them, made her sick.

"Why not? Surely you're not eligible enough to make decisions for yourself, we'll talk to your parents." One of the elders of the clan grinned, making her shuffle.

The drunken elder stood from his seat and made his way towards Tsubaki, just as he stood infront of her, she backed away.

The smell of alcohol made itself present when he talked.

"W-who wouldn't want to marry in a superior clan like us?"  He slurred his words, "And most importantly who wouldn't want to marry Naoya Zenin?"

"In all due respect, I wish not to give away my youth having kids and dealing with a marriage." She said nervously, her chest felt tight in the Furisode she had got as a gift from her father.

She knew if she accepted there offer she would be hurting herself and her beloved ones, Maki and Fushiguro.

"But, I will accept something." The elders listened to what she had to say. And at the end the Zenin Clan had finally had deal with the Nakatsukasa Clan.

-PRESENT TIME-

She betrayed a side of her, she betrayed her friends and family. But she did it for them. But that was no excuse, she did what she did. Looking ahead of her she watched as Yuji and Megumi walked ahead of her.

Megumi noticed this and slowed down a bit for her, he always had some feeling for her. He didn't know if it was because he admired her and her strength, or how she kept herself composed. But he thought the same for Maki. But for tsubaki it was different.

He's told his feelings to Maki, and she insisted he has some sort of crush on her, but he denied it and claimed how weird it would be for him to have a crush on her, especially her being a year older than him.

He looked up to her, and wished her nothing but the best. He saw her at her worst and even when she claimed he was the only one she could go to.

"Hey Fushiguro," her voice snapped him out his mind, looking over at her "mhm" he hummed, then instantly regretted it.
Why didn't I just say something...

"Would you like to be my meister?" Megumi's dark eyes widened, what kind of question is that? Noticing his bewildered expressions she quickly added on. "Of course you don't nee-"

"I'll take the task and be your meister, Tsubaki."
