Once you arrived you met the principal, Masamichi Yaga, the so-called friend of your parents. He gave you his condolences about what happened and proceeded to explain how he and your parents met, their situation with the Kamo clan, how they were persecuted since then, and the favor they asked him to look after you, if anything was to happen to them.
You looked upset, but continued to listen, it hurt, it hurt to be in that place, when you decided to gave up on jujutsu sorcery, it hurt listening to him talk about your parents when you just wanted to start over after all.
You were going to start as a first year.
"Of course you are already out of the age as everyone starts their first year, but even if you already have plenty of knowledge I just can't skip you to the second or third year because you don't officially have the first year completed."
You accepted the condition, well, it's not like you had other choice after all.
You were informed that you would be given the grade 1 sorcerer title, and that you were to prove to be worthy to be given the title of special grade. It surprised you, special grade sorcerers were rare, your parents were two of them, so obviously it would be expected of you to be a special grade sorcerer too, even more because of your amazing innate technique. But your plans were different, you didn't intend to be a special grade sorcerer, you didn't want to take the course seriously, in hopes the principal and everyone with an eye on you would just give up and let you choose your own way to live. You knew it was a childish plan, but you couldn't confront him and go against your parent's request, not this time.
Your first year was like hell, you felt bored all the time because you already knew about what you learned in classes, the practical classes were boring as well because it only consisted in exorcising low-grade curses, and it felt like nothing, and on top of it all you couldn't make any friends, they were younger and seemed a little intimidated by you since you always acted distant to everyone.
"This is the irony of the destiny, it must be" you laughed in your head, "Now that I have finally the opportunity to make friends because I'm at school I can't just get along with them."
Your second year was the same thing. You were still a grade 1 sorcerer, with no progresses at all since the first year, and because of that you always listened to your colleagues talking bad about you behind your back.
"I don't know how y/n is a first-grade sorcerer! She's nothing special at all, and is still on the same level as we all began, what is she even doing here? We all have important resolves to be here, after all we signed up with our lives, the moment we decided to be jujutsu sorcerers! It's like she doesn't care about anyone's life."
"Yeah, I have to agree with you..."
It pained you to hear these things, because they were right, you didn't have a motive to be here at all like they had, and you didn't understand how the principal still didn't give up on you, did he still have hope?
You avoided getting stronger, like everyone else around you avoided staying weak. Was that a sin? You often asked yourself that question, and you seemed to never get the right answer.

It has been two years; and you were already starting your third year.
"Y/n I have to talk with you" principal Yaga says.
You somehow feel this isn't a good sign. You follow him through the central corridor of the school, he leads you to his office and tells you to sit, as you sit down, he speaks.
"Is been there anything wrong lately Y/n? I feel like these last years you didn't have any progresses or a growing resolve to fight as jujutsu sorcerer, am I wrong?"
"No... I-" you start.
He doesn't let you finish, and sighs.
"I'm sorry, I overlook. I really didn't take to account everything that happened two years ago and your feelings about your compromise, I should have been more attentive and accompany you more closely Y/n. It's your future after all, and your choice. And you have to be fully committed and aware of this life."
Suddenly you feel like it's a good time to take all of the feelings out of your chest, principal Yaga has always been honest with you so you feel like you should be too.
"No... it's my fault. I don't have a resolve, and I'm ashamed to even continue to study here this way with everyone, but I can't help it, since my parents died, I wanted to take another path and choose my destiny, I've been running away all this time, from myself, from everyone, I'm sorry, but I can't be the strongest!"
As you finish talking, you unexpectedly feel a huge energetic shift in the room, you have this impulse to just turn around and look behind you, to see who's standing there.
"Don't worry, the strongest is already here" the man behind you says.
You look surprised at him as he enters the room grining at you and waving at Yaga sensei.
"Satoru, are you here for the request I gave you? I hope."
"Yo! Yes I am, and what a task you're putting in my hands! Well, not that I can't solve it" he says looking at you.
"Am I the task he is talking about?" you think, "Who's this guy anyway?" you look sideways to him. You remember him from the first time you came to this school, a quite embarrassing moment, beyond that you only crossed paths with him a few times on your two years here. You only heard that he was the teacher of this year's first years, besides that, you didn't knew much because you couldn't get along with anyone.
Yaga sensei wakes you up from your thoughts with what he says next.
"Y/n, this is Gojo Satoru (if you haven't met him yet). I was about to say to you that this year, I've appointed him as your tutor. You've reached a level where you no longer need regular teaching like your colleagues, but someone to motivate you to unlock your full potential, I still have hope in you, and as for your parent's last request, this is until where I go with you. You are free to make your choices after."
"Gojo Satoru??" you think to yourself again, " So that's why his first name wasn't strange to me and that explains his aura". You've heard about him from your parents multiple times, 'the strongest jujutsu sorcerer alive'. They jokingly told you from time to time that if someday you could beat him they would go around the world showing you off.
You look up and see both of them looking at you waiting for your answer.
"I, uh, uhmm..." you look embarrassed unsure what to say.
"Do your best Y/n! I'm leaving her to you Satoru" Yaga sensei says, serious looking at him, as he walks away.
"Thank you. I will..." you start but he's already out of the office.
(...)
"Let's go" Gojo turns to you as he speaks.
"I-, to where?"
"Huh? Should I tell you?" he leans closer to you looking closely to your eyes (you assume, since you can't see his eyes because of the blindfold he uses), you look away nervous with his proximity, "Nothing special, you will know when you arrive there" he smiles.
𝐀/𝐍: I hope you liked this chapter! :D all of the past action ends here. From this chapter on things are going to get more interesting, expect an intense next chapter! ✨
