𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙓𝙑𝙄𝙄 𝙍𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨

Shoko tells Gojo to get out of the room, placing you carefully over the mattress, examining you and carrying on with the necessary procedures.

Gojo sits on the ground, waiting outside of the infirmary for some news. Some minutes after, Shoko comes from inside of the room.

"She definitely lost a lot of blood, if you had arrived some minutes later, she would have died.", she says apprehensive.

She adds, "Fortunately, I could save her. The wound luckily was not lethal, and I'm expecting the recuperation to go smoothly, now she has to stay here and rest for a week or two, I will accompany her close."

"Is she awake?", he asks relieved.

"No, but she's stable."

He gets up and enters the infirmary, seeing you asleep over a mattress all beaten up, full of bruises. He grabs your hand, letting his thoughts come out on a soft whisper.

"I should do something more about all of this..."

How things kept on going, how the jujutsu world works, it hasn't changed for so long, benefiting always the same ones, a world completely rotten inside out. Gojo wanted to change it, and as he looked at the state you ended up, he got even more certain of it, but was the strongest alone enough? To change a hell of a corrupted world?
Just when he was deep in his thoughts, Shoko interrupts.

"Never seen you this emotional and caring like you've been lately, first with Itadori, and now even more with her.", she looks at him suspiciously, taking a quick glare at his hand on yours.

"I know I may seem like a jerk sometimes, but I genuinely care about my students more than anything else.", he says serious.

"Right."

"How are you even here though? Weren't you out of the city on business?", she inquires.

"Nanami called me, he suspected that Y/N was in danger, and I was the only one that could get to her. It's thanks to him that she's safe now."

"Are you leaving now?"

"Tomorrow morning, I will not advance anything there at this hour, besides I have to recharge, because of teleporting more than one time."

As he is about to leave, he adds.

"Tell her when she wakes up, to not be this careless again while I'm out. And don't forget to give me news. Now then, bye."

After he is out, he calls Nanami telling him everything and thanking him for being observant of the situation.

"She was fighting Mahito.", Gojo reveals to Nanami.

"... Mahito again?? I told her to not go alone if it was too dangerous.", Nanami sighs.

"Well, you can't really blame her for that..."

"You know?"

"Yeah, she told me about three years ago. Nanami, I'll be asking you to be attentive with her, Mahito will probably appear again, he is targeting her, and I can't be here to deal with the situation for now."

"No need to ask me that, I will be more cautious."

It was the next day in the morning, you sluggishly feel yourself waking up from a long slumber, it seemed for you, like you were waking up from a long dead dream, where you felt nothing at all, you just remembered some voices in the distance, nothing more.

All your body hurts badly and it even costs you to open your eyes. You blink a few times, letting your pupils adjust to the light of the room, and recognize the place you are at and the voice that welcomes you.
