Antecedent or Accident??

Episode 37 - I love you Dammit!!!!

Venkat: I came here just to check whether Khushi is all right. If anything happens to her then you will be behind the bars....! I'll make sure that you'd deserve to be where you are intended to.

Arnav glares at him.

Venkat: I think Khushi must break the relationship with you and.... And come back.

Arnav (raising his eyebrows with folded arms): What? But you were the one who said no to her right? You know what Venkat? Your love is too weak! If I were at your place I would have accepted Khushi even if she had relationship with another guy unknowingly! Coz that's love! But you?? You are so weak! I think you just love her because she is traditional and meek. Not because it is Khushi.

Venkat was about to fight with Arnav but Anjali comes there crying. They both leave the place.

Arnav: I knew it! You might have spilt the kerosene di! You might have tried to kill her!

Anjali (shocked) : No chote!

Arnav(yelling): Stop it di! I know about you! I saw the kerosene bottle in the morning. You might have spilt it knowingly. I knew it! You might want to get rid of her. So you went this cheap!!!!

Anjlai (crying): No chote! I am not so cheap! Listen to me... just listen to me....

Arnav stormed away from that place. He ran out. He ran and ran and didn't know where he was heading to. He cries.

Sahithya calms Venkat.

Sahi: I think this was meant to happen Venkat. It's fate.

Venkat suddenly looks at her and smiles with tears.

Sahi: What?

Venkat: You've stated becoming like me. You are saying what I used to say these days to you.

Sahi and Venkat share an eye lock.

Arnav was in the roadside yelling Khushi's name. Others thought him mad. He didn't' know what he was doing. He then ran back to the hospital. He was so much frustrated.

He goes back and cries in front of Devi Maiyya's idol again.

Arnav(folding hands): plzzz plzzz save Khushi!

Sahi and Venkat watched him.

Sahi(to Venkat): Things change suddenly Venky! Look I never believed that this day would even come. But I think this was meant to happen. But not at the cost of us.

Venkat( innocently): Why do you think Arnav loves Khushi? I mean I know that Khushi loved Arnav. But Arnav?

Sahi(nodding): As I travel back, I noticed many things to prove myself that Arnav didn't love me.

Venkat was shocked.

Sahi: Yes! Whenever Khushi came in front of him he used to tease me saying that he'd marry her as she looks beautiful. Well I thought that he was joking. Even in our school days I saw him staring at her. I thought he was this flirty type with all. I thought that his nature was to be a cool chap. But I also noticed him many times calling me Khushi. He joked me saying that he was really 'happy' having me. But it was not me, it was Khushi herself.

Venkat was appalled to discover this.

Sahi: Yes Venky. And many a times he would stalk Khushi's profile. I thought he was just curious about her. He did it unknowingly. He was somehow attracted to her . I don't know why he insulted Khushi in front of everyone until few days before!!!

Venkat stood up and looked at Sahi piercingly..

Venkat (viciously): Why?????

Sahi : because he started becoming obsessive of her! He wanted to get rid of the obsession so he insulted her. He made sure that this incident would make him loathe her. He loved me just because I was cool or perhaps I was Rishab Mathur's daughter. We used to hug, kiss each other. The day you said to me that hugging and kissing isn't just love, I realized and many a things between me and Arnav matched. He never paid any of my bills. Remember? I said when you paid for the auto? Our first meeting Venky? When he came to our college, he loathed every word called Khushi. I thought he had hated her. But he really was confused with his obsession to her. When he was bailed out by me, he realized his mistake for what he did to her. He was searching badly for her. He and I were together because he thought that I supported him and I was there for him. Now I realize that he was more or less like a boyfriend to me. I cared him a lot. But when I look back he never cared me! I always supported him. He was more or like contemplating in his own thoughts. Always lost. One day I was shocked to see him in the mandir and he was praying to god to return his 'Khushi'. I was surprised. I thought he was depressed and so this happened. But then when he confessed in the truth or dare that it was for 'Khushi' herself.

Venkat: But Sahi why didn't you tell this to me before?

Sahi: Because I never realized it. Day before yesterday when we had this conversation, I realised many things. He liked me for my style and many of our tastes matched. But not because its' me! It must have been Arnav who must have asked my hands to my father. But he never made any move.

Venkat: It might also be that he is jobless and so he might have felt himself to be belittled.

Sahi: No! Arnav is not like that Venky! I know about him. He asked my hands so fast. When he needs something, he'd get it in a second. He is not this waiting personality. So he wouldn't have taken this many years to ask my hands. No matter even If he is rich or poor. He himself doesn't know that he loves Khushi! Or now he might know but may be too late to realize it. He might have called Khushi to the hillside to have a conversation with him regarding our marks. So that Khushi would hate him before itself. But when Khushi hinted him that she too liked him, his instincts feared. He wanted his feeling to end. He was really cool. He never liked to be serious of anything. So he wanted to let go of this seriousness. He wanted to let go of what he felt for Khushi. Money was on top for him. So it blinded his love for her. He feared if he followed his heart then he might lose me and all his coolness would be lost. He knew that though Khushi was modern those days, he used to only like people's money and their habits not themselves actually. I myself realized that maybe there was something lacking in our relationship and that we were mistaking it all these years which is love! We never loved each other. We were just in a relationship. Or let me say It was a relationship for him. But I loved him a lot. (controlling her tears)

Venkat looks on. He sits with a thud. Sahi was about to cry but she controlled her tears. Venkat was crying badly.

Venkat: So... What happened , happened for good. Right?

Sahi nods with her eyes moist.

Venkat: Then what is the purpose of us in this? If they were supposed to end up together, why were we both caught up? Why are we facing this breakup? Why did God do such a thing for us? HE might have straightaway made them as pairs... Why are we a part of their lives?

Sahi: I seriously don't have any answer for this Venkat.

After a day or two,

The doctor comes and asks Arnav to come. He from the corner gets up swiftly. He was lying in the corner and kept looking at Devi Maiya's idol. His eyes were red.

Arnav(with feeble voice): Doc... Doctor... how is Khushi?? Is she all right?? Is there something?? Tell me.... Tell me...is... Khushi...

Doctor: There is nothing to panic Mr. Raizadha... She is fine. Her surgery is over and she is conscious now. She kept murmuring your name. You can meet her.

Sahi eyes Venkat. They both were still there. He understood what she was saying. He now agrees that she and Arnav are really meant to be with each other. He looks on. Arnav rushes to Khushi's room. She has tears in her eyes meeting him. He kisses her forehead and cries.

Khushi: Tell me who is that girl Arnavji, I'll get you married to her. I don't want to see you in pain because I love you!

Arnav: Well I guess I am already married to her.

Khushi looks on.

Arnav(crying): I love you Dammit!!!
