Chapter 14

Audrey's POV
"Rebekah, I think I'm going to go to bed, I'm just a bit tired." I said.
"Okay, I'll let you sleep." Rebekah replied.
As Rebekah left the room, I got all cosy and warm under my blanket. I didn't want to think about the argument I had with Elena today, so I tried to block it out. I closed my eyes, I felt a hand cover my mouth. I tried to rip it off, but I was so tired I fell asleep. Free to be kidnapped....

Rebekah's POV
"Sister, is Audrey alright?" Elijah asked.
"Yes, she is going to bed." I replied.
I saw Elijah walk up the stairs, I assumed he was going to unnecessarily check on her.
I walked over to Klaus, he was feeding on some poor girl. "Klaus, do I really have to clean this whole thing up!" I said annoyed.
"Yes you do." Klaus chatted.
"But you organised this whole thing?!" I sassed.
"SHE'S GONE!" Elijah shouted.
"Elijah! Have you checked in the bathroom?" I questioned.
"Yes I checked in every room." He said irritated.
"Well where would she be?" Klaus asked.
I thought for a moment, I really did like Audrey she was a nice person.
"Oh! Salvatores!! They wanted her to go home!" I exclaimed.
"Well, we're driving there then." Elijah insisted.

Audrey's POV
I woke up with ropes tied around me, and wolvesbane injected into me. "How did you know I am a wolf?" I probed.
"Damon, searched your mind, we found out your a hybrid! Did Klaus turn you?!" Elena asked.
I laughed.
Elena grabbed my arm, with her vampire strength. "Why are you laug—"
I interrupted her. "Who turned you, Stefan or Damon?" I asked.
"That's none of your business!" She argued.
"Well it's not like we're sisters or anything!" I mumbled without realising she had vampire hearing.
"You're right, we're sisters so I'm going to sort that out." She added.
"What do you mean Elena?" I asked confused.
She points over to a syringe on the table.
"Once injected into you, all your memories of Elijah and the Mikaelson will vanish, well they'll turn into bad ones! You'll forget your a adopted, and you'll join us like how it used to be." Elena explained.

I noticed Elijah bashing his hand on the door, he clearly heard what Elena just said.
"Elena! You let me in right now or once I get in you will be dead, if you lay a finger on her." Elijah shouted.
I glanced at him. I saw Elena pick up the syringe. I scooted back against the cold brick wall.
"Elena, please you wouldn't want to do this, I'm your sister!! Please Elena!" I pleaded.
Her face looked emotionless as she walked closer to me. I felt my eyes watering up. I knew Elena wouldn't hold back, no matter what I said.
"Elijah..." I whispered under my breath knowing he would hear me.
"If this is the last of my memories, know that every day with you has been magical. I know we never dated but I'm happy that you kissed me, I've never felt so loved in my life. I want you to know that I will fight every day to get my subconscious back even if I won't remember....." I whispered to Elijah.

The shock of the needle moved my whole body, I felt a tear roll down my face, dripping onto the floor. I saw memories flooding before my eyes, but within seconds everything was gone. I saw Elijah at the door, all I felt was hatred but there was no reason for it. "How are you feeling?" Elena asked me.
"Like I hate him!" I said pointing to Elijah.
I saw a tear roll down his cheek but he desperately tried to hide it. I slammed the door in his face.

Elijah's POV
I felt Rebekah running towards me. "Elijah...what the bloody hell happened?" She asked.
"They made Audrey forget and hate us all." I said
"We will get her back." She said reassuring me.
"No Rebekah the magic they used! It was powerful." I said infuriated.
"Well we'll find even more powerful magic." Rebekah said.

Was their love story over, or was it just a fresh start......
