You sit on the floor in shock, staring at Draco. Or should that be Hermione. You want to get up and run away from her, but something keeps you from moving.

There is something so strange about seeing Draco Malfoy curled up in a ball on the floor and sobbing his heart out. But then, it isn't Draco, you remind yourself. It's Hermione that is here sobbing in front of you.

"Hermione, is that really you?" you ask.

"Yes," she manages to reply between the tears.

"I don't understand, why do you look like Draco?" you say.

"Draco was acting suspiciously, I wanted to see what he was up to," says Hermione. "That's why I took the Polyjuice Potion. I didn't mean to run in to you. I didn't mean for any of this to happen."

"But why did you kiss me like that?" you ask. "Was it just to disguise yourself as Draco, so you had to copy what he did?"

"No, I....." Hermione breaks down in tears again.

You wait a moment for her to calm herself down again. You hand Hermione the packet of tissues from your pocket, and she uses one to dry her eyes. It still feels really weird watching Draco crying, even though you know it is really Hermione.

"I'm sorry, it's too weird talking to you while you look like that," you say. "Can you change back to normal?"

Hermione sniffles. "No, sorry," she says. "You have to wait until the Polyjuice Potion wears off. But it will not be much longer, I took it about an hour ago."

You lean over and pull Hermione in for a hug. She hugs you back and softly sobs into your shoulder.

You don't understand why Hermione acted the way she did, but you are sure Hermione is a good person and would not want to hurt you on purpose.

Hermione pulls back away from you with a gasp. You look at her and see her face changing before your eyes. Her hair turns darker and quickly grows in length. Her body shrinks slightly and grows more feminine again. Soon she is back to being Hermione again, just wearing Draco's clothes still.

"Okay, let's try this again," you say. "Why did you kiss me like that?"

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have tricked you like that," says Hermione. "I just couldn't help myself, in that moment, I just wanted to kiss you."

"But I don't understand," you say. "Why would you want to kiss me so much? I thought you liked Ron."

"Ron? No, he's just a friend," says Hermione. "I think... I like girls..."

"I never realised," you say.

"No, it's just.... I wasn't really sure myself," says Hermione. "I was always so busy studying that I guess I never really thought about my sexuality."

You give Hermione another tissue to wipe the rest of the tears from her cheeks. She takes it and smiles at you sweetly.

"It was just when I met you, I.... felt something different," she says. "And then just now, you looked at me with such lust in your eyes.... I couldn't control myself."

"But, why me?" you ask.

"Yesterday, when I came back to the dormitory, I.....saw you," Hermione says blushing. "You were on the bed...... touching yourself."

Hermione blushes more and looks down at the floor.

"I watched you.... for a minute or two. I guess you didn't notice me there," she says. "The way you were moving, and your moaning, it was incredibly hot to watch."

You turn red at the thought of Hermione standing there and watching your orgasm.

"And then later, when I came back, I saw you laying naked on your bed, I just wanted to touch you," Hermione says.

"I'm sorry, I didn't have any idea you felt that way," you say.

"I do," says Hermione as she looks up and stares deeply into your eyes. "Do you feel the same for me?"

"What, no. I mean, I've never..." you reply awkwardly. "I don't, like, I'm not into girls. Sorry."

"I...." Hermione starts to say but then bursts into tears again. She quickly gets to her feet and runs crying from the room.

You go to chase after her, but stop when you reach the door. You don't know what you could say to her to make it better.

It's so confusing with the thoughts running through your mind. You really like Hermione, and in the short time you have known her you have begun to really care about her.

But, at the same time, you don't feel that way about her. You have only ever been attracted to boys before, and never thought about girls in that way. You just didn't know how to talk to Hermione about it.

For the next week things were awkward between you and Hermione. She would avoid you at meal times, and she only came into the dormitory when you were already asleep.

Harry and Ron notice that there is something going on between the two of you, but you don't know what you should tell them. You don't want to keep it a secret from them, but it's not your secret to tell.

Meanwhile, Umbridge has been busy in her new role as High Inquisitor. Every time you go to the Great hall it seems like more rules have been added. It's another thing you wish you could talk to Hermione about.

You are heading down to get dinner when you hear a commotion outside and see the other children heading out to investigate. When you reach the courtyard, you see Professor Trelawney standing awkwardly in front of a pile of cases. Professor Umbridge walks towards her threateningly.

Suddenly the main doors burst open and Professor Dumbledore comes striding out.

"Sybil, go back inside," he says.

Then he turns angrily to Umbridge.

"You might have the power to sack my teachers, but you don't have the power to banish them from the grounds," says Dumbledore in a commanding voice, then he turns round and storms back inside the castle.
