You stand on the bridge for a while, looking in the direction of the Forbidden Forest. After about 15 minutes you see a group of Thestrals in the distance, flying out from the forest. You wave at them, but they are too far away to see properly so you don't know if Hermione waved back at you. You watch the Thestrals as they keep flying away, until they are little dots on the horizon and disappear from view.

You wander back towards the castle, not really sure what you should be doing. You know from reading the books what is going to happen next. They have a long flight to London on the Thestrals, then make their way into the ministry. Then they get into the department of mysteries to look for the prophesy. Then the death eaters turn up and there's a big fight. And that's when Sirius Black is killed.

Part of you wonders if you should have warned Harry what was going to happen. But then, you are not sure what would happen if you did. Would Sirius be saved, or could he be saved? Or what if by telling Harry, he gets so obsessed about Sirius dying that someone else gets hurt instead? And what if that person is Hermione. Or maybe even Harry himself? That would be terrible if anything happened to Harry, as he's the only one who can stop Voldemort.

You wish that Dumbledore was still here. He would have known what to do. If only you had remembered to tell him what was going to happen before he disappeared. But you had been so busy having sex with Draco and Hermione, that you forgot all about the actual plot of the story. Maybe Snape was right, you are just an annoying horny teenager. Hmmm, Snape... maybe he would know what to do?

You stop wandering randomly around the corridors, and start walking down to the dungeons to find Snape.

When you reach his office, you tap timidly on the door. Part of you hopes he is not there, as the idea of going into Snape's office is a bit scary. But you hear the word "Enter," spoken loudly from within.

You open the door and reluctantly enter Snape's office. You see him sat behind his desk, his hands arched in front of him and a look of contempt when he sees who it was that knocked on his door.

"Yes?" Snape says, with a raised eyebrow.

"It's about Harry. I, umm, I came to make sure you understood his message," you say.

"Yes, I understood what Potter was trying to say," says Snape, sounding kind of bored. "I managed to contact Sirius. You can inform Potter that he is quite safe."

"But Harry's gone," you say.

"Gone? Gone where, girl?" Snape asks.

"Err, to the department of mysteries," you say. "He went to confront Voldemort and save Sirius."

"Confront Voldemort? Is he an idiot?" Snape asks. "Actually, you don't need to answer that."

"The death eaters are there," you say. "They are going to kill Sirius."

"And Voldemort will be there, at the ministry? says Snape.

"Yeah, he is going to try to kill Harry," you say.

"I must inform Dumbledore and the Order," says Snape with a very serious expression. It reminds you of that 'why so Sirius' meme for some reason, but you realise this probably isn't a good time to say that to him.

Snape grabs some floo powder and goes to his fireplace. He tosses in a little bit of powder and watches as the fire turns green.

"Dumbledore, it's me, Severus. Are you there?" Snape says into the flames.

"Severus, what is it? Why are you contacting me?" says the voice of Dumbledore through the fire.

"It's an emergency. Voldemort is going to attack the ministry. Potter is there," says Snape.

"No, Harry. Thank you Severus. I'll summon the Order and go to save him," says Dumbledore.

"Don't thank me, it was y/n that warned me," says Snape.

"Ahhh, y/n. Yes, that makes sense," says Dumbledore. "I had an important message for her, but perhaps that should wait until I have rescued Harry. Goodbye, Severus."

And with that Dumbledore leaves and the flames go back to their normal colour.

"An important message. For me?" you say. "What is it?"

"Well how would I know," says Snape, rolling his eyes at you. "You will have to wait until the next time I can speak to him."

"Oh, yeah. Sorry," you say sheepishly.

"Well, you have passed on your message. You can go now," says Snape.

"But where should I go?" you ask.

"I don't care. As long as you get out of my office, you can do what you want,"  Snape snaps at you with an annoyed look.

"Oh, okay. Sorry Professor," you say, and you quickly stumble out from Snape's office.

You go back to wandering randomly through the castle again. This time you end up climbing to the top of the astronomy tower. It is a nice clear night and you get a good look at the stars. You sit down near the edge and look out over the castle and the lake. It all looks so peaceful and quiet, it is hard to imagine all the chaos that is happening that moment down in the ministry.

After you have been sitting for a long time, you notice that your bum has gone numb from sitting on the cold floor. You quickly stand up and get pins and needles all over your bum. "Owww," you moan and try to massage your bum back to life.

It seems like they others are not going to be back any time soon. You begin to wonder if there is any way of contacting them for an update, or to make sure everyone is okay. But you are not sure what the wizarding equivalent is for a mobile phone.

With nothing better to do, and your eyes beginning to feel heavy, you decide to head to bed. That way, when Hermione gets back and wakes you up, you will be all rested and ready for her.

You start climbing back down from the astronomy tower.  Then you walk back in the direction of the Gryffindor common room. When you get there, it is all empty. You didn't realise how late it had gotten.

You go up the stairs and into your dormitory. When you see Hermione and Ginny's beds laying empty, it sets off another pang of worry. You quickly throw off your clothes and put on your pajamas. Then you slide into your bed and under the covers. You lay there for a while, staring over at Hermione's empty bed. You feel too worried to fall asleep for a long time, but eventually exhaustion overcomes you and you drift off to sleep.
