I hear whispers around me which quickly jolted me awake. As I looked around me, I saw piles of books and students in green robes. I quickly realized I had fallen asleep on one of the couches in the common room.

I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes as Blaise walked up to me. "Rough night?" He laughed.

"You have no idea," I mumbled back. Blaise looked at me with many confused expressions. "I must've fallen asleep out here."

"Obviously," he scoffed back. I rolled my eyes at him. "You should go get ready. I'll wait for you and we can walk to breakfast together."

"Alright."

I quickly grabbed the many books that were on the table in front of me, and ran up to my room. As I opened the door, I noticed neither of my roommates had been in there. It didn't even look like Pansy slept up here.

I grabbed the clean robes from my trunk and threw them on. I brushed my hair and then my teeth, and headed downstairs to meet Blaise.

"That was fast," Blaise laughed.

"Don't you know I have super speed," I joked. The both of us laughed as we walked out of the common room.

As we walked, we saw a familiar face walking by himself. "You look a little lonely over there," Blaise yelled.

The familiar boy turned around with a huge smile once he heard our voices. "Hey, man," Theo said to Blaise. "Hi, beautiful," he said while looking at me. I knew Blaise wouldn't be suspicious of the nickname because it wasn't uncommon for Theo to do that.

The three of us walked to lunch, making small conversations along the way. As we walked in the Great Hall, we saw an open seating section in front of Pansy, Draco, Crabbe, and Goyle, so we sat there. There was no Lilith in sight, which made me smile.

"Ah if it isn't the Obsidian trio," Draco smirked.

"I still don't know why you call us that," I laughed.

"It's just your friend group's nickname. Much better than the Golden trio's, which doesn't even make sense because they are just a bunch of filthy blood traitors and a mudblood," Pansy spat.

"Yeah, and obsidian is a strong, badass rock, so be happy we didn't get you a bad nickname," Draco laughed.

"Whatever," I laughed. The three of us sat down, and started to eat the food in front of us while still engaging in a conversation with the others in front of us. "So, Pans, it didn't look like you slept in your bed last night. Where were you?"

Pansy nearly spit up her water. "She was with me," Draco said quickly. Everyone's eyes widened. "Don't let your eyes fall out now. Neither of us could sleep, so we stood up talking in my room."

"Oh, alright," I responded.

"It didn't seem like you slept there either. I saw you and all your books in the common room," Pansy said.

"I was reading," I said plainly.

"Reading," Theo smirked.

My heart started to beat rapidly. "Yes, Theodore," I spat while hitting his leg under the table. He cringed when I used his full name. I knew he despised it because he shares it with his father, whom he hates. I actually thought it was funny whenever I heard Lilith use it just because Theo did hate it so much.

After we all finished eating, we all started to go to our classes. Funny enough, we all had Defense Against the Dark Arts first.

The class went on as it normally does, but it ended early. Not the class, but what we had been working on.
