This is a spy story that I've been working on for some time now.
It has actually been heavily influenced by a trilogy I read, which sadly, the author left incomplete.

The book comes out, 2022!
Add it your reading lists because trust me, you don't want to miss this.

A snippet:

Sofie

It has been two months since I faked my death, or rather, two months since Sophia died.
And was reborn as Sofie.
I moved in with Isabel as her home schooled daughter. She said that her New York neighbors couldn't care less whether she had a daughter or not and the fbi had managed to get my name filed as her daughter.
A new identity, they said.
Which is true in a way.
My hair are no longer dark blonde like my dad.
They are now warm caramel brown waves with side bangs. The FBI scientists had performed a slight gene alteration (yes, that exists.) making me a brunette forever so I didn't have to get touch ups done.
My eyes were also a darker blue now, sapphire blue instead of ocean blue.
These two months, I trained with the FBI, learning the ways of Blaze.
The training as well as the gene alterations modified my body, only slightly but effectively.
My waist was a little slimmer, my abs more prominent and my face more angled.
No one could recognise that I was Sophia underneath all this facade.
And maybe I didn't want to be recognised, after all, my life as Sophia was over.
And there was no going back now.

Meet sofie, the epitome of beauty, brains and bravery.
