"Noooo! Why?!" I cry.

Right now i'm sitting home, all by myself, watching Notebook while stuffing my face with sour gummies. I know, i'm pathetic.

DING! DONG!

Ugh! Who the frick is disturbing my peace! I open the door, to be greeted by someone i was defintely not expecting.

Jack.

His eyes widen, as he scans me head to toe. Shit, i think to myself. I'm a mess!

"Um...hi jack, i-i was just" i stutter. "Are you okay? What happened?!" he says, stepping inside. "Nothing. I was just watching a movie...while eating...junk food" i try to say.

"Oh" he says

"Sooo? Whatcha doing here??" i say trying to break the akward tension. "Oh! Um, right. I just wanted to ask you something." he says, slowly.

"Ok" i say, waiting for him to say his question. He takes a long deep breath.

"Doyouwanttobemygirlfriend" he say super fast. "What? I'm sorry i didn't understand?" I said.

"Do you want to be my girlfriend" he repeats, slowly.

I would be lying if i said i wasn't shocked.

Wow the first guy that asked me out, and i'm ganna reject him.

I give him a sad look, "Jack, your a great guy. And i'm really flattered, but i think of you as a friend. I'm so sorry, Jack." i say, trying to be nice as possible.

God i feel so bad. And awkward.

A quick look of hurt flashes through his face, "It fine" he says. "I'm so so sorry" i say again.

He gives me a small smile, but that makes me feel even worse. I touch his shoulder, "Hey, we're still ganna be friends, right?"

"Ya" he answers. Suddenly, the door bursts open!

Zach steps inside, and starts taking off his shoes. "Lex! We're going to a club!!" he shouts, with out looking at us.

When he's done, he turns around to face us. "Oh! Um, hi Jack. What are you donig here?"

"Nothing" he mutteres. "You guys have fun, i have an exam to study for" and just like that, he left.
