Alexa's POV

Right now I was trying to cook some damn pancakes, but I kept burning them.

Ugh!! This is so embarrassing! I can't even make pancakes!

"ALEXA!!" My mother yells from upstairs.

We haven't talked that much since our fight, she only says something when she absolutely has to. Besides, their leaving tomorrow again, so it won't be awkward around the house anymore.

"YES!" I yelled back.

"WHATS THAT SMELL?!" She screams.

Shit.

"NOTHING!" I shout back, biting my lip.

She dosen't answer.

Good.

I shut off the stove and throw the pancakes away.

I gave up.

I dialled Zach's number

He picks up on the third ring. "Hi"

"Hey" I say.

"Wanna come over" he says.

"Yes!" I say, quickly.

He chuckles, "Eager to see me, aren't you"

I can imagine him smirking.

I roll my eyes, "Ya, ya, see you" I say, and end the call.

I put on my shoes, grab the keys and put on my jacket.

Suddenly, I hear footsteps thudding down the stairs.

"Where do you think your going?!" I heard my mother screech.

I mentally groan.

Leave me alone woman!

I turn around, "To Zach's"

She shakes her head, "Absolutely not!"

I throw my hands in the air, "Why?!"

She clenches her jaw, "Because. I just don't want you hanging around that boy anymore."

I scoff, "Ya? And who's ganna make me?!"

I walked out of the house, leaving her hanging.
