Happy Hallow Institution

Entry 4

I sit outside the hospital room. Waiting for the boy who I hit in the face. And for Dr. Smiles.

Minc sits their twitting her thumbs, waiting for them to come out.

Soon the nurse doctor and the boy come out.

The boy has a cold back on his eye.  The nurse checks his face once again.
The doctor smiles but his face seems unhappy.
He turns to me and his smile gets more wider.

"Emily.. do you know what you did wrong?.."

"Y-Yes.. sir."

"Now... As a result of your actions your stay has been extended."

"W-what?! By how much?"

"An extra month. This young man gave you a pardon so it's not as harsh as originally intended."

I stare at the boy.

He just gives me a cold stare and looks away.

I gulp and look back at the doctor.

"Return to your room now, I think it's time for bed now."

"Uh... But the sun is still out?-"

"PLEASE!!"

I jump.

"Just.. go."

I nod and return to my room.

I look back to see the other boy walk off.
I walk off to my presumable room.

I walk into a room that has my number on.

I walk in and see the girl who has the book in the room.

"Oh..."

"Oh!.. it's you.."

"Y-Ya.. I'm... Sorry about your book.. as a fellow book lover I know how... Hurtful that is.."

"It's ok... They were just dumb drawings anyway..."

"Oh hey.. don't say that. I'm sure that there lovely."

I sit on my bed. I look to my side and see my suitcase. I open it and begin to take out some things.

I pull out a small toy sloth and put him at the side of my bed.

I smile softly as I feel only a small amount of comfort.

Seeing as I'm well. Grounded I decided to fall asleep for tonight.

I lay my head down and begin to sleep.

A few hours I wake up to a big bang.

"Ah!..." I shoot up from under the covers and turn to my left to see my roommate still fast asleep.

I lick my lips and breath hard. My eyes have a hard time focusing.

I slowly get up out of my bed, and grasp at the sounds. I stop to let the creeks ache away.

As my 2 feet touch the floor, I get up.

I get up and slowly make my way to the door.

It's a heavy door but I soon notice a gap under neath the door.

I lay on my stomach and take a look underneath the door.

It's dark. The only thing I can really see are silhouettes and sounds.

I look. . . .

I hear the sounds of lofer shoes hitting the floor.

Tap

Tip

Tap....

And heavier foot steps that follow..

Also the sounds of chains and grunting. That sound like an animal.

My eyes widen

(Why are their animals in here?!)

I get up a bit just incase I have to dash too bed.

"I'm so glad you could take me up on the sudden short offer Mr. Smiles."

"~Pleaase- it's doctor. And of course Will take care of these 2 quite well. We do haveee— the rooms to fit these two~ not to mention all the medical supplies you need."

"Perfect, also. Letting you know if any other well. Childern you think are.... Worthy of a "good" change. I do have political power to over up the tracks."

I cover my mouth to stop my sharp breathing.

I feel even more disgusted and bothered to even stay in this place.

I hear there foot steps walk away and the sounds of the animal resisting yet moving forward.

That poor thing... Is it dangerous???

Well dangerous or not I feel like helping it and helping all these kids out before it's too late.

I move onto my four feet and slowly make my way back over to my bed. And try by best to fall asleep.
