Chapter 13

Mammon gripped your hand as his eyes filled with tears. "Y/N...?" You slowly sat up in bed with one of his hands supporting you and you leaned on the headboard. "Ow, ow, ow..." You took a deep breath. "Nope, nope, I'm fine..."

Your hand and eyes glowed red, making Mammon lose his grip. "S-sorry... I guess it hasn't worn off." He nodded and looked at the ground. "N-no, it's fine." You tilted your head. "Mammon.. are you okay?"

You heard footsteps coming--or rather sprinting--down the hall and the med bay door burst open. "Y/N!" Levi ran over to the bed and hugged you. "Ow! Levi!" He immediately panicked and stepped back. "Sorry, sorry! I forgot!"

You chuckled and sat up a bit. "It's alright! I'm fi-" "It's not fine!" Your eyes widened as Mammon faced the floor. "It's not.. fine." You put your hand on his leg, making him look up. "This isn't like my little greedy Mammon, now is it?" You said with a breathy chuckle.

You let your eyes travel from brother to brother. "I'm not mad. Really. To be honest, I might've overreacted about Lily. But I guess that overreaction was what caused me to find out about Lily's true identity. Either way, all I am is glad." You looked at your hands folded in your lap. "Glad that you're all safe."

Beel gave a forced smile. "You're too kind, Y/N..." You sighed. "Man, did I miss eating with you, though." Lucifer was still rather surprised. "You seem calm."

Belphie yawned. "This isn't the first time she's almost died. Besides, if she did die, it also wouldn't be the first time." You thought for a moment. "Holy moly, you're right. I really can say I've done everything, huh? I've died, almost died, met demons, met angels, been to a different realm, and everything in between." You leaned back with your hands behind your head. "But that doesn't mean I plan on dying anytime soon."

Satan smiled a bit. "Of course not. And none of us plan on letting you." Mammon was still silent, which was incredibly rare. In a good way, of course. "Mammon..." He looked up at you again. "You know, I wouldn't mind if you held my hand as well." He looked down at his hand and saw that you were squeezing his hand. He adjusted it and made it so you were holding hands.

That night, you still didn't leave the hospital wing, but neither did the brothers. With 2 or 4 brothers resting on either side of the bed, you did admit that you didn't mind the attention. You pulled out your D.D.D. and texted the Purgatory Hall

You shut off you D.D.D. and leaned on the headboard. The bed slightly indented and you looked at the foot of your bed. You put your head on Belphie's and sighed. "He never has trouble sleeping..."

You turned on your D.D.D. and scrolled through Devilgram bit. Unconsciously, you started humming. You weren't quite humming anything specific... but it was enough to calm the brothers down. You felt a hand on your thigh and you looked down, being met with Mammon's sleeping figure.

"They're so cute." You moved a bit so you were lying down and dozed off.
