Ever since jayln's last encounter with Kylie, things haven't really been the same. Kylie has become more distant but oddly, jayln was cool with that.
She didn't need Kylie thinking that she was forcing her to be someone she isn't. Even though they still said they're hi's and byes to one another, they never had a real genuine conversation about what really happen.
Jayln's phone dinged in her pocket she placed the box down checked her phone. It was message from jamila. She smiled down at her phone at she read the text message.
Hey bighead, I miss you

Hey girly I miss you too. I can't wait to see you and the other homies

Yeah us too. You should come spend a weekend with us or better, we can come to you

Jayln's eyes popped out of her head. She couldn't afford to be around the girls right now. Not after know she slept with jamila right before sparking something with Simone.
Even though jamila was cool with the fact of her talking to Simone.. she couldn't sit in Simone's face and fake like that.
They texted back and forth before jayln finally got back to work.
Soon 4:30 swung around and it was time for jayln to clock out. Relive to be off was an understatement because the awkwardness between her and Kylie was starting to get the best of her.
Jayln hopped in her car and headed down the road to her house. For some odd reason, Brianna popped in her mind. Even though she had an idea that Brianna didn't like her she thought bri was a cool ass person.
Jayln isn't a player but she did love the ladies especially the ones that gave her a hard time.
She pulled into her grandmothers drive way and hopped out her car. She grabbed her backpack out the back seat locked the car door and headed inside. As soon as she opened the door, she was greeted by her mother.
They stared at each for a minute before jayln finally spoke up.
"I've had a long day so if you're hair to lecture me about my sexuality, save it cause I'm not interested" she said. As she was about to walk off her mother grabbed her back.
"I'm not here to lecture you. I'm here to talk to you as a human being. Look.. I know we have our rough patches but at the end of the day you're my Child and whether you like it or not, we're stuck together." She stated.
It was no doubt that jayln missed her mother. She was broken from the fact that her mother let her down and turned her back on her. 12 years of her life she felt like her mother abandoned her.
Her mother left her out and choose her sisters and brothers over her. Jayln didn't know where to start forgiving her mom for what she did and the hurtful things she's done and said about her.
It's at a point where jayln doesn't even consider her mother a mom. She loved her mom, but she decided to love her mom from a distance.
"Although that sounds great and all, I'd rather not. You can go be with serenity you fav and jalissa the princess. I would hate for you to be caught up with demon seed." Jayln said looking her in her hazel eyes. "I-" as Muray was about to speak, she was cut off by jayln.
"Now if you don't mind, I've had a long day" she said walking up into her room slamming the door shut. Muray jumped a little at the door slamming. She had so much pain built up inside of her.
She knew what she did and is doing is wrong but she only wants the best for her daughter. She's tried to understand but can't. Time is ticking and she needed to get right with her daughter before the clock stops.
Jayln sat on her bed as her blood boiled. She didn't understand her mother and after all these years of trying to be there for her mom and trying to please her, shit was still never enough for her.
Overtime jayln gave up and did her. She didn't have anything to say to her mom and she damn sure don't plan on rekindling nothing with her. Those days of making things right with her has been dead the day she walked out and left her with her grandmother.
Jayln laid back on the bed closing her eyes and thinking about all the pain she's endured from her mother. Not long after she slipped into a very deep sleep.
