The avengers were all sitting around the living room of stark tower talking when FRIDAY chimed up.
"Pardon me Mr. Stark, but there is someone demanding entry downstairs."
Tony looked up from his hand of cards, "What do they want? They know this isn't a museum right?"
"They're asking for you sir."
"Me?"
The team all looked at Tony, "Bring up the security footage please."
FRIDAY pulled the live feed from the main floor of the tower. In it was a girl at the receptionists desk.
"Can we get audio on this, please?" Tony asked.
FRIDAY did as was asked and the room listened to the conversation that was happening floors below them.
"You don't understand, I need to talk to Mr. Stark, it's an emergency." the girl in the footage said
"Ma'am you don't have an appointment, I can't just let you up stairs."
"There's got to be some sort of list of pre-verified visitors."
Natasha looked at tony, "Why does she think she would be on a verified list?" Tony shrugged at the question and kept watching the footage.
"There is, but you're not on it." the receptionist said.
"How would you know, you haven't even asked me my name yet?" the girl brushed her hair off of her face.
Trying to remain civil, the receptionist spoke, "Alright, What is your name?"
"Alex."
The woman cocked an eyebrow, "I'm gonna need a last name."
The girl who called herself Adeline looked up at a security camera, sure someone was watching by now. She glanced down again before speaking. "Carbonell. Alex Carbonell."
As soon as Tony heard the name he spoke, "FRIDAY tell the front desk to let her up."
"Yes sir."
"Tony, you know that girl?" Steve asked placing his hand of cards down on the table.
"... I'm not getting my hopes up."
The team all stood waiting for this girl to appear in the room they were in. Soon, the elevator doors opened into the room and inside stood the girl. She stood tall, probably close to six foot, she had her bleach blonde hair was loosely curled and it sat just above her shoulders. She wore baggy ripped jeans and a cropped white shirt paired with black combat boots and gold jewelry.
"Tony?" she asked, stepping out of the elevator, rubbing her arm nervously. She looked at him a second, and then around him to see the other people in the room., "Everybody."
"Adeline, How did you-"
"-Find you? Your name is on the building."
"No not that, how did you survive?"
The statement took everyone in the room back. Who was this girl and why was her survival surprising?
"That's a long story but I'm here now."
Tony's eyes started to tear slightly as he walked over to her, "Oh munchkin," in a moment, he pulled her into a hug and held her tightly.
She hugged him back and let out a sigh, "Hi dad."
"Dad?" Everyone in the room questioned collectively.
"Since when are you a father, Man of Iron?" Thor asked, speaking up for the group.
