There was a weird silent tension that Alex felt engulfed her room when she woke up. As long as she stayed behind the closed door the probability of anyone talking to her about what she had done. Pulling the blankets over her head she groaned, knowing there was no escaping the inevitable. Tossing the blankets off of herself she got out of bed again and decided before doing anything else she should probably take a shower since it had been two days.

Lucky for her the room she was in had a connected bathroom to it, which meant more time to avoid people. In the bathroom, Alex turned on the water and stripped down while she waited for it to warm up. The bathroom in it of itself was... high tech to say the least. Not that she would expect anything else from someone like her dad, it was still fun to see everything he thought was necessary to have in a bathroom.

The shower was 100% digital, which didn't make sense to Alex as to how it was safe, but she didn't think too hard about knowing her dad wouldn't put her in a room with anything in it that could hurt her. She looked at herself in the mirror and studied herself. Her body was something that she felt was never right, probably stemming from years of being told so by the people who had had her the first ten years. There always seemed to be something they wanted to change, hair had to be long and dark but her natural color wasn't dark enough so she had to dye it. Marks always had place somewhere on her body, on her head from shock therapy, her stomach and back from different discipline routines, even the bottom of her feet were known to have scars.

"Would you like anything for your shower Ms. Carbonell?" a voice asked.

Alex jumped at the sound and looked around the bathroom to see no one, "Hello?" she asked into the nothingness.

"Pardon me Ma'am, I'm FRIDAY, I'm Tony's new AI system after JARVIS. Is there anything I can help with?"

"Umm," Alex looked around and thought, "Is there anyway I could get a fresh pair of clothes in my room for when I'm out of the shower?"

"That won't be a problem Ms. Carbonell."

"You can call me Alex, I'm not very formal."

"Alright Alex, anything in particular you'd like for me to get for you?"

"Maybe some baggy patchwork jeans and a neutral color crop top? I'm not all that picky really."

"I'll have that ready for you when you're out of the shower, Alex. You have music control from within the shower if you'd like it."

"Thanks." Alex tried to be polite, never having had a conversation with a computer before.

Stepping into the steam filled stall shower, she got her hair wet and let the water run over her face for a few seconds before seeing the touch screen panel that no doubt was what FRIDAY was talking about when she mentioned music controls. Tapping the screen, she scrolled through a ton of different playlists. Modern pop, indie, country, Asgardian Hits. She smiled, looking through the different things people in the tower listened to before finding something that struck her fancy, 80's rock. Clicking the play button, the sounds of Motley Crue filled the acoustics of the shower. Hearing the familiar song relaxed her and within seconds she was singing her heart out to the 80's anthems she loved.

In the living room of Stark tower, Tony sat with Nat, Steve, and Sam. They talked about meaningless things while playing poker, Nat winning most of the rounds.

"Mr. Stark," a secretary type woman spoke up stepping out of the elevator, "I have an outfit for you?"

"I didn't order an outfit," He stated, curious at the delivery.

"Well I got an order from FRIDAY... where would you like me to put it?" The girl asked, clearly having other work that she needed to get back to.

"I'll take it," he walked over and held out his hands to receive the clothes that looked like they had been freshly pressed, "Thank you."
