08 :: ❝Jung hoseok + Escape❞

Flashback to Taehyung's POV:

Our main team― me, Jimin and a few members― was gathered in the forensic department headquarters. Few results have come, and from where we've read till now there was no luck, there weren't any footprints or fingerprints in the surroundings of the crime scene.

Also from Jackson's side, from the CCTV footage, he couldn't catch any activity of the killer.

We've got the sketch drawn by the artist, we've printed it out and published the person as 'wanted'.

I walked away from the commotion, and decided to go to the Hanwha Industry's main office. As I entered I was about to walk towards the reception but a red-haired figure and his actions, made me stop.

I remembered Namjoon hyung saying that there may be someone from inside the department, who's reporting all the information to the killer and most propably helping him too.

Can it be true?

Jung Hoseok?

I hid myself behind the wall and slowly peeking through, i noticed him carefully tip-toeing and walking towards the corner left room.

The man was secretly going in a room, which i assume is the place where all the reports or documents are kept.

I silently followed him, ensuring not to make a sound.

Watching him, glancing left to right and entering the room i hurried towards the room.

I quietly turned the doorknob to meet with the sight of him, searching through the room.

"What are you doing here?" I abruptly spoke making him flinch in response.

"N-nothing sir." He stuttered out.

I examined his face, fear and nervous emotions visible throughout the face.

"Seriously? Nothing? Then why did I see you secretly entering this room?" I questioned, folding my hands over my chest, while coming closer.

"I-I can explain. T-There is no-nothing such like that." He replied, while his eyes busy scanning the room.

"Ok then ex― " I was cut off when I noticed a hidden camera on his shirt button, beeping red.

"What's this? A camera!?"

"N-no sir, it's n-not mine.."

Ignoring his words, I immediately pulled out the button and dragged Hoseok by his shirt's collar to the administrative office back at our main building.

On reaching, I ordered a subordinate to keep Jung Hoseok outside, and with me, going to talk with the head of administration.

I informed the head there about the whole situation, Namjoon's suspicion about someone being backstabbing us and the proofs we got.

After talking for around half an hour or so, I exited the room and gave Hoseok suspension letter ― suspending him for 4 weeks, until he'll be taken to court ― without listening to his pleas.

(A/n: the head was also a dumbo and he believed whatever Tae said, without hearing Hoseok's POV)

I ordered Jimin to call me if they get the other reports and left.

(Time skip)

I stared at the sketch of the intruders in Mr Cha's home and obviously his murderer too.
