Taehyung POV:

"Another case of homicide took place in XXX, the victim 'Kang Hyeon' was found deceased in his home.

This leads to a total of 3 cases within two week!

The investigation agency has still no firm leads about the identity of their assailant"

I switched off the television. Rather than being frustrated, I've to be calm down and think about this case carefully and watching the opinions made by the NEWs Channels won't help. I picked up the pile of files which consisted of all the information, the records and the complaints about the Hanhwa Chemical Industry.

There was indeed a huge amount of proof that this assailant is surely related to this Industry! Based on what Jimin told me earlier, there's a huge connection between them.

Flashback:

"Ok so, there have been in total 3 murder cases this week. Ahn Jong, Lee Dae Jung and now Kang Hyeon. All three are the main shareholder of the Hanhwa industry for the past 27 years and the same photo of the industry was found in each three's death spot!" Jimin exclaimed. "So, why wasn't I informed about that?" I questioned. "It slipped out of my mind!" Jimin defended. "It is for sure something related to the industry! Ok now, make sure to send all the previous records of this industry to me as soon as possible!"

"Ok I'll-

"And also if any complaints are made against the industry; send them too!" Jimin nodded and hurriedly walked outside from the room leaving me in deep thoughts.

Present:

The main shares of the industry is divided among five people; out of which three are no longer alive and the remaining two are Park Hanuel and Cha Byeong Ho. They are well-informed about the current situation and thus they have increased their security officials and are taking security measures and almost limiting the time of being alone by themselves. I acknowledged this information while concentratingly reading through the files.

If the assailant is leaving behind these clues; it directly make the fact obvious that he wants us to know that there is something about this industry. He is intentionally leaving clues behind.

The assailant is for sure quick-witted! He or she is careful enough to avoid any potential traces or prints behind! Then something struck my mind.
I picked up the main intercom of the offi- "Hello! Send me all the details of the nearby convenience store, medical stores and those centers where forensic equipments are sold, till tomorrow!" The female on the other side replied with a affirmative answer and I hung up the call.

At times, seconds feel like moments and on the other side moments like seconds; I leaned on my chair, and with that my eyes involuntarily closed and night had finally befallen me into a deep sleep!

The brilliant beams of the sun gave a splendid shading to the mists and knolls; the roads and the building. In the beginning there was a little chunk of light in the sky and after a little time later, at that point light vegan expanding in size and sparkle. The primary beams of the sun are cool and gives support to the eyes. Plants and trees in the gardens of the people's seemed to be devouring the beams of the sun!

And there I stood watching outside from the office room's balcony, the warmth of sun directly falling on the face making it glow in yellowish shade, the chirping of birds; watching the view with calm expression while sipping my morning tea and a weak smile on my face knowing yet another day has started! I can only stand in awe, taking a deep breath hoping the day to be as miraculous as the sunrise!

I decided to go to my home; probably Namjoon would be worried. I took my leave and reached for the common garage for my metallic blue Sedan; my baby! On my way to home, I tuned on with the latest song 'Life Goes On'.

"Like an echo in the forest,
The day will come back around

As if nothing happened
Yeah, life goes on~"

This song never fails to bring a smile on my face. I grinned widely.

"Like an arrow in the blue sky,

Another day flying by,

On my pillow, on my table

Yeah, life goes on

Like this again~"

Singing the whole way, without even knowing I reached my home. I parked my baby in front of the apartment aka my home. As I was climbing the stairs, I wasn't focusing on the way, busy looking at my phone; I bumped into a guy resulting to crashing of my phone on the floor. Thankfully, I sighed in relief, there wasn't any damage; entirely forgetting about the presence of the person in my front. As I took my gaze on the man, who was already staring me; I was awestruck with his awesome features!

No one is marked as handsome until and unless the person is close enough and his/her features are clearly visible! The man in front of me made me stop in my tracks, my brain empty, no words coming from my mouth; the sudden pause around me felt as if the time has paused, me mesmerized by his nonchalant features and without knowing I was giving him a weak smile. His big sparkly doey eyes, his big but cute button nose which was slightly hooked up, a light baby pink lip gloss on his thin yet soft and kissable lips, his pale flawless skin, his dark black locks, hiding most of the part of his forehead and slightly brushing against his dark brown eyes!

Wow.

A masterpiece indeed!

I started having a feeling of butterflies in my stomach the moment our eyes met; but despite his cheeks giving a light red shade his expressions suddenly changed and now he was giving me a disgusting look. I came into my senses and hesitantly nodded; I don't know why, and then said "Sorry, I wasn't looking!" He gave me a look as if saying 'yeah-that's-what-is-needed-to-be-said!' and began moving away from me. I shook my head in disbelief God knows for what reason and headed towards my apartment.

As I reached for the door, it was unlocked; my calm expressions changed into a irritated look and as soon as I entered, I heard a clunking noise coming from the kitchen and without a single thought in my mind, I screamed at the top of my lungs- "NAMJOOON!!!!!"
