Seojin's surprise visit made Fiona feel over the moon. Words weren't enough to express how overjoyed the two felt to finally be in each other's embrace.
The couple stayed glued to each other for a few more minutes before they decided they should go into the house since it had started to get dark outside.
"Get comfortable, I'll prepare us some delicious dinner!" Fiona gestured him towards the couch and he nodded in response and walked towards it and plopped down with a tired sigh.
After resting for a while, Seojin joined her in the kitchen. They spoke occasionally about trivial things, related to the forest and the village, while the food was being prepared.
Just being in each other's company was enough for the two. Silence lingered in their midst, but it was nothing close to awkward, instead, the silence was peaceful and comfortable.
Soon, dinner was ready and set on the dining table. Seojin, being a perfectionist when it came to food, was particularly impressed by Fiona's cooking.
"Woahhh! Fiaa you've become an expert chef! This is amazing!" she smiled, pleased to see him happy with her effort.
"I mean, of course, you have to be excellent at cooking! After all, you learned from the very best! The one and only WorldWide Chef Ki- uh I mean- Song SeoJin!!" He grinned and sent a wink her way.
"Haha! Right, I was wondering how come you didn't say the tagline until now." She laughed and they continue to eat.
"Hey, umm... I have something to ask you maybe it's not exactly the right time..but may I?." Seojin suddenly spoke very seriously.
"Sure, go on..." she said growing anxious.
In a very serious tone, he continued, "Why do you think trees make the best frenemies?"
"Huh?" she said confused at the random question.
"Because...they are the best at throwing shade!! HAHAHA!" he suddenly burst out laughing. "You should have seen your face!!"
Fiona pursed her lips and looked at him with a bored expression. "Uhh. What did I even expect from you.... and stop laughing!! Your laugh is funnier than the thing you said."
They continued to bicker and laugh with each other until they were finally done with dinner.
"Here, let me do the dishes for you, by then you can go take shower, hmm?" Seojin offered.
"Really?? Are you sure? You must be really tired.."
"Nopeee! I'm never tired when it comes to you, baby" he said this as he leaned forward from his seat to leave a quick peck on Fiona's cheek.
At that she giggled, "Alrighty then! I'll help you take these back to the kitchen and then head for the shower, okay?" and that was exactly what she did.
When Fiona returned from her bath, as she had expected, all the dishes were washed, the kitchen was made as clean as new and Seojin was putting off all the lanterns that weren't in use. The two then swapped their activities, so it was then Fiona, who was putting off the candles and lanterns while Seojin took his shower.
They had an early dinner because Fiona knew her boyfriend was tired, even though he claimed otherwise and even though she wasn't actually sleepy. Who would say no to good sleep, right? So she decided that it would be best if she prepared the bedroom for them so that they could sleep early.
She climbed the small flight of stairs that led to the compact yet comfortable bedroom and began to tidy up the room. She then began to prepare the bed for Seojin to sleep on. The witch was in the middle of adjusting the quilt on the bed when she felt the presence of someone to her side. She turned towards the door and what she saw immediately widened her eyes to two times its original size, made her cheeks warmer, and sent blood rushing to them.
Her beloved boyfriend stood there leaning to the door frame. The only thing he adorned was a thick, white towel, that was wrapped around his hips. His hair was still damp from his shower and tiny droplets of water were still scattered on his bare abs. Fiona's mind began to be flooded with slightly perverted thoughts.
She shook her head and went back to make the bed, in an attempt to hide her blush and to distract her mind from the torturous sight of the half-naked man behind her.
Seojin however enjoyed seeing his girlfriend flustered. He took slow strides towards Fiona, with a mischievous smirk lingering on his lips. He stopped when he reached behind her and rested his head on her shoulder.
Fiona felt a pair of strong arms snake around her waist from behind. Her back was pressed against Seojin's well-built chest. His breath fanned against her neck making her heart thud louder in her chest. Her breathing became heavier when she felt Seojin draw his face closer to her ear.
"Babygirl, am I making you shy?" he whispered into the vulnerable witch's ear in a dangerously deep voice. A chill ran down her spine when he traced a finger from her ear to her shoulder and slid off the sleeve of her tank top, that was covering it.
He pressed his velvety lips against her smooth clavicle, immediately Fiona shut her eyes and clutched onto the comforter so tightly as though her life depended on it.
Slowly, Seojin slid his hand down the witch's arm while placing soft pecks up from her shoulder till he reached her jawline. By then our witch was a shaking mess. Her boyfriend's mere breath fanning her skin was enough to make her surrender herself to him. To Seojin, this was like permission granted.
Within a blink of an eye, he lifted her in his arms to which she audibly gasped, "JIN!" But he didn't even flinch. Slowly, he walked to the edge of the bed and gently placed her on the warm bed, before joining her on it.
Seojin hovered over Fiona while they stared into the depths of each other's souls through their eyes. He slowly tucked some of her loose hairs behind her ear and traced his fingers along her jawline to her lips, dipped a finger under her chin, and angled her face.
Finally, after what seemed like forever, the distance between them was no more when he gently pressed his plump lips against hers. Immediately she closed her eyes and she responded by kissing him back.
Little did they know about the figure behind the thick foliage that had been watching their every move from the moment Seojin had come to Fiona's house.
"So, this is where you have been hiding her all along, huh? Jin, how about I leave you a little surprise gift later?" an evil chuckle left the unknown person's mouth as they clenched their fist and disappeared into the darkness.
