"Bye mum" I said as my mum closed the door behind her, she was wearing her army suit and black boots her long brown hair was up in a messy bun with an army cap covering it.
As the door closed behind her, I jumped on the sofa and devoured the rest of the popcorn i had left from yesterday. It was a beautiful evening in spring break. My dog Charles, a German shepherd, jumped beside me and we watched the newest episodes of "River Banks". I checked my phone it was 19:00, time to walk Charles before bed. So I put on my polka dot jacket and my multicoloured converses on my hello kitty socks that were a bit small but they were the last thing I got from my father before he died. I strapped Charles onto a leash and grabbed the keys, left the house and entered the forest.
It was a summer evening so the sun was only setting. The trees towered up creating a canopy above me. Owls started hooting their night song. I walked along the cobbled stone pathway.
It was the last turn. But then... I froze... two wooden sticks were dung into the ground with tape wrapped from one to the other. There was a note stuck to the one to the left. It said...
