Chapter 32

The Queen took Rose to her own quarters. Along the way, many servants stared at Rose and gasped because they couldn't believe their eyes when they saw her.

When they finally got to Rose's very own quarters. Rose walked in and her jaw dropped. There was a walk in wardrobe with millions of clothes, accessories and jewellery. She had her very own un-suite and a massive king sized bed. Also, there were two glass windows with a balcony facing out of the palace towards the villages and the beautiful things that lived over there.

Rose walked towards the window does and opened the doors to the balcony.

"Wow."

"And it's all yours." The Queen said.

"You can't be serious." Rose said.

"As serious as it can get."

"Wow." Laughed Rose.

"I think I shall give you a minute or so while just go and find you a suitable gown for this evening." Replied the Queen.

"Wait. What's happening this evening?" Asked Rose.

"The feast. All of the noble men and women from all over the planet are coming, just to meet you Rose."

"What! I just woke up from a coma and now I have to go be presented in front of a load of strangers." Cried Rose.

"Well that is the point."

"So I don't even get a lie-in day or anything. Just straight into balls and dinners?"

"Yes sweetheart."

"Great." Rose said sarcastically.

"Now dear these are your maids Alice and Suzzie. They will help you get changed and clean your room." Said the Queen.

"A) I have been changing myself since I was 2 and B) my room is always clean, in a way." Replied Rose.

"Okay, they will help you pick out your clothes and accessories."

"Oh. Okay." Answered Rose.

"Make sure she is ready by 8. It's 7 now, so you have an hour to get ready. Make my daughter beautiful ladies!" Shouted the Queen from the corridors.

Once the Queen was gone, Rose closed the balcony doors and got into her bed.

"Your highness, it is an honour to meet you." Said Alice.

"Yes. It is an honour Princess." Said Suzzie.

"Um, thank you?" Replied Rose.

"Now Princess, what do you want to wear?" Asked Alice.

"I haven't a clue Alice." Replied Rose.

"Let's have look then." Said Suzzie.

Rose got up out of bed and followed Alice and Suzzie I to her massive wardrobe. Rose looked at all of the fabulous dresses she had and picked out a lace dress which mostly looked like a wedding dress. It had a lace back with buttons and to come with it a pearl necklace and bracelet.

"Perfect." Gasped Rose.Rose got changed into her dress and put on her necklace, bracelet and earrings. She looked in the full sized mirror.

"Beautiful your highness. You have such great taste." Said Suzzie.

"Thanks, it's in my genes." Laughed Rose.

Once Rose was ready to go Eddie escorted her to the front of the dinning hall where she was to make her grand entrance.

"You nervous Rosie?" Asked Edward.

"Err, just a little. I don't know any of these people. They could hate me!" Cried Rose.

"You think? Looking like that Rose, I think they will love you."

"Thanks Eddie."

"Dont worry, I will be with you every step of the way. Even when you make your grand entrance."

"Your a star you know Eddie." Said Rose.

"I know." Answered Edward.

"Eddie, can I ask you a question?"

"Yes."

"Do you have any horses on Neptune?" Asked Rose.

"Loads. Why?" Replied Edward.

"Because I need one, pronto!" Laughed Rose.

"Put that on your list of demands." Laughed Edward.

The trumpets sounded and Casper,Amelie and Ann all walked down towards the bottom of the stairs to greet the guests. The the Queen was announced and everyone cheered. Then Edwards and Rose's names were called out and everyone went quiet.

"Are you ready little Rosie?" Asked Edward.

"No. Not at all Eddie!" Laughed Rose in a hushed tone.

Then they walked out onto the top of the stairs and were greeted by a loud applause.
