Rose and Edward were greeted with a room full of applause. People were chanting Rose's name and many were pushing to the front just to meet her.

As Rose and Edward made their descend down the grand staircase, Edward reached out to Rose through his mind and said

"You still nervous?"

"Err, in a way yes and no." Replied Rose.

"See, told you it wasn't so bad!"

"I thought they hated me!" Said Rose.

"Well, they all seem to want to meet you." Answered Edward.

"Now let's go meet some people little Rosie."

"Bring it on." Said Rose in a competitive way.

When the duo reached the bottom of the stairs. Many people bombarded Rose with introduction to either themselves or their sons. Edward made way for them by getting some guards and the two of them walked towards their mum who was watching from her throne.

"What do you think sweetheart?" Asked Rose's mum.

"Um, a bit overwhelming. But pretty neat I suppose." Replied Rose.

"Is Edward taking care of you?"

"Mum!" Murmured Edward.

"What?" Asked the Queen.

"He is being the best brother slash guard I could ever have!" Answered Rose.

"Good good." Said the Queen.

The Queen got up from behind the table she was sitting at with her throne and tapped her knife against her wine glass.

"I am delighted to see so many people attending my daughter's welcome home feast and ball,"

"In honour of Princess Rosalina's return we have enrolled some of the best chefs from around the world to cook tonight. Bringing their own delicacies with them. Now, if you would please be seated. Let the feast begin!" Announced the Queen. Cheers filled the great hall as the waiters walked out and served the food.

For starters there was vegetable soup. At first Rose was unsure about the soup. But after she had taken a spoonful, she ate it very quickly. Her mum didn't have to tell her to 'not slurp' or 's of up Wright's because Rose was a natural, even if she was bought up in a in-house way.

For main there was lobster and vegetables with a side of muscles and caviar.

Rose leant towards Edward who was sitting next to her.

"Eddie." Whispered Rose.

"Yes." Replied Edward.

"I can't have lobster."

"Why?"

"I am allergic to it. It will make me go all red and blotchy and give me a horrible rash. It takes ages to recover from it."

"Pretend to eat it and make it look like you have had some of it." Answered Edward.

"I am not eating anything else. Ew!" Cried Rose.

Edward laughed at his little sisters reaction to the food. Rose shot him an annoyed look, she whispered in Edward's head that he was in for it later.

When desert finally came, Rose was relieved to find it was something more edible than the main. It was a chocolate dessert with square brownies and chocolate sauce on the side.

When all of the guests were filled with food. The Queen announced it was time for dancing.

Rose became very nervous because she couldn't dance.

"Eddie." Whispered Rose in his ear.

"Yes?" Answered Edward.

"I can't dance."

"Oh. That's bad. A lot of people will want to dance with you."

"Great!" Replied Rose sarcastically.

"You can retire."

"Huh?" Questioned Rose.

"Go back to your room." Answered Edward.

"Done. Come on then."

"Better go tell mother though."

"Okay."

Rose and Edward walked over to where the Queen was chatting to some councillors. When they got there, instead of asking, Rose was introduced to the men who were also, honoured to meet Rose. When Rose finally told her mum that she was going back to her room, the Queen said she had to tell everyone else.

"Why?" Asked Rose.

"They will want to know where you have gone darling." Said the Queen.

"Why?"

"Dearie, you ask to many questions for a 12 year old!"

"Mum, I am 14." Shouted Rose over the hum of music.

"So you are!" Replied the Queen. The Queen tapped her knife against her wine glass again and announce that Rose was to retire. Everyone bowed towards Rose and she bowed back.

When Rose was about to turn round and walk back up the stairs with Edward, there was an ear piercing scream which made everyone go silent. In the next couple of minutes Rose was being escorted out of the palace with the rest of the royal family. Rose got lost quickly in the buzz of the crowd trying to evacuate the palace.

"Edward!" Cried Rose in her mind.

"Rose! Where are you?" Asked Edward.

"I don't know! What's happening?"

"A candle was knocked on a curtain and now half of the hall is on fire."

"Leave it to me."

"Rose! Don't you dare!" Cried Edward.

Rose was gone and Edward knew what she was going to do.
