~Kathy's P.O.V.~

The moving truck stopped in front of what must be my new house. It had been such a long trip. No I was moving cities, but countries. I had flown over the Atlantic Ocean from Canada to here. I didn't really want to move until my parents said where we were going, England. Then I changed my mind. No One Direction wasn't the reason, well it was but it wasn't the only reason. My friend James who lived in England. He had came to Canada from England when he was four, then moved back to England when he was seven. He was the same age as me, sixteen, and we haven't seen each other in eight years. We have chatted over E-mail but nothing else.

Before I had left I had gotten a new phone, I had asked James for his number and he gave it to me. I added it to my phone.I pulled out my new IPhone and texted him.

Hey James it's Kathy! I just got here, wow England is beautiful!

I sent the message then got out of the moving truck.

"Here we are!" My dad announced, "The Jones's new home!"

"It's beautiful here!" I admitted.

"I bet you will love our new house." My mom said. "But I bet your hungry so go down to the coffee shop and buy some food for yourself while we tell the movers where to put everything." she handed me some money, "The coffee shop is two blocks down."

I nodded and started to walk to the shop. It didn't really seem that much different than where I used to live, except the fact that I'm in another country. When I got to the shop I bought a muffin and a coffee. I sat down at one of the tables. One thing I will have to get used to is the accents. I probably sound pretty strange to them with my Canadian accent. I thought to myself. Hmm... I wonder what I sound like to them. I realized that I had been thinking about this for a while and that my coffee was barely warm and that I had eaten all of my muffin. I drank the rest of my coffee then headed back to my house.

I came home to see boxes everywhere but at least our furniture was in place.

"I'm back!" I called.

My mom called from the kitchen probably, "Honey can you go unpack your boxes in your room? It's the third door on the left."

"Sure." I headed up stairs and found my room.

I went into my room. It was very large and looked very cool. The room was white, but the far white wall had been splattered in paint, my double bed was up against that wall. There were two windows in my room and my desk was placed between them. The windows looked over the street in front of my house. My dresser was on the opposite wall of the windows and my book shelf was against the wall near the door. I had two door, one leading to my own bathroom and another for a closet. Someone had rolled out my dark blue shaggy rug, put my brown chair in the corner and put my laptop on my desk. I loved this room. There were boxes of my clothes, books and other random items all over, I began to unpack.

I started with my clothes and put them all away in my dresser and closet. Then I started to unpack my books, I put them all up on my book shelf. After I was done with my books I unpacked other random items I had in my room back in Canada. I pulled out some photos of when I was younger and some of my friends and family, they were all in black frames. I placed them on my bed. I can hang those up later. I thought to myself. I took out little souvenirs that I had gotten from when I had traveled with my mom and dad. When I was done unpacking this room finally looked like my own room.

As soon as I was finished my dad came into my room, "Wow you unpack quick."

"Well I needed it too look like it was my room." I said.

"Well I'm here for a couple things. One, I need to hang up those curtains over there. Two, I need to put up your full length mirror. And lastly, I knew you would want to hand up your photos so I'm here to do it." He said pulling out a hammer and a bag of nails. He must have just found his tool box.

He hung up my new white curtains, a black full length mirror and all of my photos. "Thanks dad. Now I'm done unpacking." I smiled.

"You are, but you have to come help unpack the rest of the house." he said.

I sighed, "Fun."

I took my phone from my pocket and checked if I had any messages, I had none. So I put it on my desk then went downstairs and helped my mom unpack the kitchen and my dad stayed upstairs and unpack the office and his and my mom's room. That's how we spent the rest of the day, unpacking our things into our new house.

~James's P.O.V.~

 A few days ago at the beginning of summer I was talking to my friend Kathy over E-mail. She said that she forgot to tell me but that she was moving to England. I was so happy, I would finally get to see my best friend again. She said that she had gotten a new phone and she asked for my number, I gave it to her and she gave me her number. She told me that that was this was the last time I was going to talk to her in a while because her internet was going to be canceled soon, but she said that she would text me as soon as she got to her new house. We talked for a while after that until I got tired and went to bed. As each day passed I waited for a text saying that she had arrived here.

I woke up today and did what I usually do. I went for a shower, got dressed, went downstairs ate, went back upstairs brushed my teeth and I probably checked my phone over a hundred times during this. But I had no text from Kathy. I continued on in my day. I don't know how but I lost my phone around lunch time even though I had been checking it every couple of minutes. I tried to find my phone the whole day with no success.

When I went to bed that night I went into the bathroom to brush my teeth and guess what I found. It was my phone, it was in the drawer where I had put the tooth paste. I checked it to see that I had two new message. My heart's beat started to quicken. I looked at the first message to see that it was from one of my friends, I sighed, the other one was probably from him too asking if I was dead or why I wasn't answering my phone. I checked the other message and it was from Kathy. No way. It was from Kathy, she sent it around lunch time. I read the message.

Oh god she must have thought I was ignoring her. I thought to myself. I need to text her back, but what should I say?

I thought for a few moments on what to say then I texted her back.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hey Kathy! We should hang out, I'll call you tomorrow!
~~~~~~~~~~~~

There, now it seems like I wasn't ignoring her.

I brushed my teeth quickly then went to my room. I checked my phone to see if she texted back but she didn't. She is probably tired from the trip here and went to bed, she isn't ignoring you. I told myself.

I shut off the light then made my way to my bed using my phone as a light so I wouldn't hit into anything  I laid down and check my phone once more still no message back from Kathy. She's probably asleep, not ignoring you. I told myself again. Just asleep. I couldn't fall asleep. I couldn't wait for tomorrow, I would finally see my best friend again. After all of these years I would be able to talk to her face to face. I wonder how much she has changed. I wonder what she looks like now. I just picture her from the last time I saw her, but older. I wonder if she'll recognize me? You know since now I don't have glasses or really short hair. I finally fell asleep an hour after I had laid down. All night I had no dreams at all.
