A/n: forgive the poor quality, I wrote this at what, 1 AM? Anyways, gah, feels, feels and shiz.

Your head throbbed as you sat with your back hunched over in Aunt Cass's car. The silence was unbearable, and you could tell that Cass was trying not to cry. You could almost hear her walls crumbling down with every turn of the vehicle, and when they finally came tumbling down, all you could manage to do was stiffen up and try not to cry as well.

Your body jolted forward as you hit a red light.

Why Tadashi?

You felt like such an awful older sister.

I should've been there for him. I should've been there for them!

You buried your face into your hands.

I never should have left! Maybe if I hadn't left this wouldn't have happened! Why did this have to happen?

"Why, Aunt Cass?" You asked out loud, and your voice cracked.

Screech.

You were there. Almost immediately after the car was parked, Aunt Cass reached over to the passenger's seat and gathered you in a shaky hug. You clung onto her shirt weakly.

Warm drops snaked their way down your face. "Why?" You repeated, but this time the question wasn't directed towards anyone.

Because no one had the answer. Aunt Cass broke the embrace and held your face firmly and gave you a sad smile, wiping your tears away. Wordlessly, the two of you got out of the car and you wheeled your suit case into the shop and lifted it up the stairs. You walked down the hall and paused, right outside the boys' room. Wait, no. Hiro's bedroom.

But I have to be strong.

You took in a shaky breath and opened the bedroom door slightly, seeing the dark haired boy kneeling on the floor, fingering a picture frame.

Your heart clenched, recognizing the picture. It was the three of you, taken before your parents... Before you left.

But I'm here now.

You stepped into the room, and the boy's head shot up. You rushed forward, stretching out your arms, which he thrust himself into.

And you stayed there, the two of you, sobbing.

"I'm here," you whispered, holding the shaking boy even more tightly. "Shhh, it's okay," you murmured, resting your chin on his head. "Big sis's here, I'm here."

If you could see us now, Tadashi.
