NOT HIDASHI
"Oh come on," whined Hiro, as his older brother dragged him by his arm onto the couch, plopping down in front of the blank screen of the television. "I don't want to watch one of your lame nerd movies!" The fourteen year old huffed, crossing his arms over his chest.
Tadashi rolled his eyes. "Just give it a try, bonehead." He chuckled, sifting through his collection of sci-fi movie DVD's. He popped in the disc and sat on the couch next to his brother as the movie started up. "You might like it."
Cue the Star Wars opening sequence.
"Ugh," groaned Hiro, sinking back into the couch. This was going to be a long night.
~Le timeskip of movie marathonzzz~
Hiro's eyes widened in anticipation as he slowly lowered his hand into his bucket of popcorn, munching on the handful currently in his mouth.
Luke Skywalker crept silently, eyes darting back and forth for any signs of Darth Vader. Carefully, he turned a corner when--
"Gah!" Hiro yelped as Darth Vader popped up, and red clashed against blue in a flash. The boy jumped in fright, launching his popcorn in all directions. He kept his eyes - now wide in anticipation - trained on the screen as Luke and the frightening man in black engaged in battle, sending sparks flying everywhere.
Tadashi shot his brother an amused sideways glance as he laid back against the soft couch. He'd seen this at least twenty times, therefore he was way more calm than his weirdo genius brother.
Lame nerd movie, huh?
Hiro's eyes remained glued to the screen, and, if was even possible, widened even more as Darth Vader sliced off Luke's hand.
"AAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!" Hiro jumped out of his seat and fell onto the carpet.
Loud thumping sounded from the stairs, and a rumpled and bewildered Aunt Cass stumbled into the living room.
Her eyes were wide and bloodshot from sleep. "Who's there?" She snarled, and she would've been intimidating if not for the slur in her words and the fact that she was armed with only a blue hairbrush.
Tadashi flinched. Oh no.
The disgruntled woman groaned loudly and lowered her brush and stomped over to the television. She slammed her fist into the eject button, earning a distressed wail from Hiro.
"No! Aunt Cass, you--" the boy froze as the sleep deprived brunette slowly turned her head to face the two now terrified boys.
"Bed. Sleep. Now." The elder woman spoke stiffly through gritted teeth, pointing towards the stairs. The brothers shared a frightened glance and quickly slipped out of the living room.
Tadashi winced as he heard a door slam (undoubtedly their aunt's), quietly shutting the door to his and his brother's room.
"But the movie--" Hiro spluttered, no longer frozen under his aunt's icy stare. "A-and Luke-- she can't--!"
Tadashi watched with an amused look on his face as his brother paces back an forth, freaking out over the previous battle between Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader.
"Gah!" Hiro collapsed onto his bed, slumped in a heap of hoodie and pajama bottoms. Tadashi chuckled.
"One of my lame nerd movies, huh?"
