The sky darkened as the rain fell, but it was a peaceful, stress-free sensation, similar to how when people say they love the rain, this is what they meant, this was the sensation. Everyone in the city was celebrating after all it is a Friday night, going clubbing, singing karaoke, or just unwinding after a long week at work. This, however, will be the last time I spoke with him. This is our final goodbye.

"Hey... "Can you recall the first time we met?" You asked of him.

"Of course, how could I forget you were so gentle and kind to me?" He responded.

"..."

"Why are you crying Y/n...?"

"Do you hear what you're saying?! I mean, why wouldn't I cry? Isn't it obvious that I don't want to lose you?"

"I really don't want to lose you, however Y/n... There's nothing we can do, I mean, look at me, I don't have a chance at survival, but I'd like to cherish these last moments with you."

As you started to weep while holding hands, he laid in your lap.

"Y/n when this is all over, please don't go getting revenge for what they did too me, okay?"

"I... Okay."

"Good."

"Thank you for everything." You tell him while you clutch onto his hand.

"No thank you Y/n..."

The rain became increasingly heavier, you were both drenched, and your tears streamed down your cheeks and onto his forehead.

"I love you." With a soft smile, you claim.

He gently takes your hand in his and places a soft kiss on it.His eyelids became heavier and heavier before they eventually fell shut and his hand dropped to the concreate floor, there he laid in your lap as he had fallen into an internal sleep.

What happens after death? I'd always ask this question, and I'd like an answer based on logic and reasoning. Is this a possibility of reincarnation? Or do we follow the paths of heaven or hell, and if so, what defines a bad person...? Is there life after death at all? All I can do now is wait and see when I, too, pass away.
