So this is Normal (TMNT fanfic)

Chapter Two

They took to the building tops, trying to stay to the shadows and make as little noise as possible. They stopped when Leo held his hand up.

"What is it?" Donnie asked, trying to scoot closer to the ledge.

"Foot bots," he replied. "But they're up to something more than stealing parts. Look," he pointed to a white van.

Everyone crowded the ledge and stared. The back of the van was open and they were trying to shove a white haired girl in the back. She was fighting with a metal pole, but to no avail.

"Looks like the fight came to us," Raph said, a grin spreading across his face.

"Chill out. We can't get involved."

"But she needs help!" Donnie exclaimed.

The whole time they were arguing, Mikey jumped down to the ground. He ran at the foot bots, and started trashing them. The girl was astounded, and froze.

Donnie looked over the edge and said, "Guys, Miley's pounding ass down there."

Leo rolled his eyes. "He never listens to orders."

They all made it to the ground and went about demolishing the rest. The girl made a startled noise and jumped away from them, but didn't run.

Once the foot bots were crushed, they turned to look at the girl. She was wide eyed, but curious.

"what- What are you?"

"well," Mikey started.

Donnie held out his hand. "Allow me. We are experiments from a lab. We're basically talking, walking, teenaged, ninja turtles."

The girl grinned. "Cool!!!do you all have names?"

"Do you?" Ralph shot back.

She nodded. "My names Elsie."

Nice to meet you Elsie. I'm Leonardo, that's Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael. "

She nodded and studied all of them for a good minute. She seemed to be sizing Donnie and Mikey up. Donnie shifted nervously.

"what are you doing out here alone?" Leo asked.

"I was walking home before these.... Electronics jumped me."

"Electronics?" Donnie inquired. "what do you mean electronics?"

"Aren't they robots?? O mean, they're alarming and shit."

Leo moved closer. Donnie followed closely, already pulling out vials and ripping cords out. Elsie watched fascinated.

"So.... You're A scientist?"

"well, I prefer the term scientific genius... But a scientist will do."

"What do you do?"

He didn't reply for a minute, trying to figure out what exactly he did. " I guess you could say that I'm a chemist. I play around with the substance that turned us into what we are... We call it mutagen."

"that glowing green stuff?"

Everyone turned towards Elsie. She took a step back. "What did I say?"

"you've seen mutagen?" Mikey asked. "You're totally rad!!"

"She's not rad Mikey. She's extremely lucky to have gotten away without a drop touching her."
