👻no ghost readers👻It was 8:00 am I woke up to the sound of Ritchie fussing in his crib. Sitting up on my side of the bed I look over to Oscar's side and frowned at the empty space, sometimes I wish it was a bad dream that he didn't get arrested and I would just wake up and he would be right there. Standing to my feet I walked over to Ritchies crib and picked him up. "Man you're getting heavy!" You say to him giving him a kiss on his forehead. You checked his diaper and of course it was full you set him down on the bed and proceeded to change his diaper. After that you carried Ritchie to the kitchen to eat breakfast. Today was a big day you're finally visiting Oscar in jail, you were nervous but happy cause you haven't seen him in like 3 weeks which is the longest time you've ever been away from him. Snapping out of your thoughts hearing Ritchies spoon hitting the floor. You reached down and grabbed it "heeeeyy!" You furrowed your brows at him. He chuckled with a big smile. He looked just like his dad mini spooky as you would sometimes call him. After you guys were done eating both of you made your way back into the bedroom to start getting ready for the day.
(Your outfit^)
It was now 11:15 am both you and the baby were ready to go. Your appointment to visit Oscar was at 12:00 pm so you decided to leave now, the jail he was in was only 30 minutes away. *at the jail* you made it just on time. Parking your car then getting out to get Ritchie out you put him on your hip and continued into the building. Ritchie was still learning how to walk he knows how to stand up on his own and take 3 maybe 4 steps and then he drops to the ground and crawls. Getting in line To get checked in your heart rate picked up out of nervousness and excitement. After that you waited for your name to be called. 5 minutes later a tall security guard called out your name you got up and followed him to the station Oscar was waiting for you at behind a glass with a telephone connected to the wall. There you saw him you couldn't help but to smile big you looked down at Ritchie to see him having the same expression as you, he waved his lil chubby hand to Oscar. You quickly picked up the telephone and said "hey mi amor I'm so happy to finally see you I miss seeing that sexy face of yours !" You say with a smirk. Oscar chuckled "hi mamas you look beautiful as always, how are you feeling?" Oscar questioned. "Pretty good just trying to get used to this new normal" you reply with a sigh. "I'll be outta here in no time, trust me" Oscar replied. You just nodded with a slight smile Ritchie started to yank on the telephone cord "I think he wants to tell you something" you said handing the phone to Ritchie "hi dada luh yooouuu!" He said in his sweet baby voice. Oscar grinned "I love you to mi hijo(my son), take car of your mom for me okay?" Oscar said. You gave Ritchie a kiss on his head and took back the phone "2 minutes left!!" An officer announced over the intercom. "Before times up how's Cesar ? I've only gotten to talk to him once" Oscar questioned. "He's been okay I mean he's taking it a lot better than I thought he would" you say. "It's cause he's got you there with him your like an older sister to him" Oscar said. "Yeah I guess so" you smiled. There was a remaining 30 seconds. "Okay I love you so much and I think about you everyday, stay strong for me ok papi?!" You say. "Okay I will mami I love you so much I miss your touch...bye" Oscar said. Both of you hang up the phone you tell your son to wave to his dad as you did the same with a sad smile. Oscar waved and blew a kiss to you as you returned it.
