Mr & Mrs Rao

CHAPTER 1

Hello !!!
A first attempt to write up my strange imaginations on this recently trending , tv series couple - sai ketan rao and shivangi khedkar urf Raghav Rao and Pallavi Deshmukh popularly known as  raghvi by their crazy fans !!!

Disclaimer :  A pure work of fiction !! Not related to anyone in general and specific !! Not intended to hurt anyone's feelings !!!

Here I go !!

Title - The Coat

She was taking something from the cupboard hurriedly and to her delay she had all her clothes on the ground, " Arere ! Ka ha deva? " ( in marathi - why this god ? )  and she started picking up all the clothes . While she was arranging she found his coat on the floor . She slowly picked it up and slightly brushed her fingers over the coat ......

Flashback

" Kya hein ye saree ka dukaan ??? " Asked ghamandi rao drawing everyone's attention by showing her the sample pieces she brought to give him . "Sab bakwaas hein" he continued, " tumko mein ek chance diya aur tum ye dikhate ho .... Ye ?" and started walking to his study by carrying one of her sample saree cover to which she said ," par tumne toh dekha bhi nahi hein Raghav aur ...." and started following him

After they reached his study , he threw the sample cover over the table desk and inched towards her making some signs to cover up her shoulder .... She was confused why was he signalling her .... He tried to make her understand several times but she was dumbfound by his actions ...... Giving up on her , he slowly removed his blazer and moved towards her.

She was nervous and said , " ye kya kar rahe ho tum ? " As she saw him coming towards her . She continued ," Dekho , tum mere paas mat aao aur ye kya badtameezi hein ...."and starting moving back on her track and collided with the door behind which by her action got locked ! She was afraid and closed her eyes ..... She then felt a pair of strong hands holding her and making her move away from door . She slowly opened her eyes and found a pair of beautiful yet dark orbs looking at her with such intensity that she flinched a little in his captive  and tried to figure out what were they ( his eyes 😉 ) trying to say!

Her mind voiced out , "If only looks could kill ..... aye haye !Mein marjawaan " ]

He slowly released her from his captive and covered her up with his coat and moved away . She was stunned by his actions and didn't know what to say . She mustered some courage to speak , " ye .... Before she could say something he spoke , " mujhe koi shouk nai hein tumhari phati hui saree dekhne ka..... vo bahar log theiy jo interested theiy , isi liye .... "  She was baffled at his explanation , the one which she would never expect him to give !!

He looked at her expecting  a reply but he could see her expression, more stunned and shocked and instantly knew he won't get any !!  He opened the door behind her and  was walking away from the room but turned around to say , " saree ke sample dekhne ke baad Farhad se bhijwa doonga ..... Ghar jao bina chik chik kare ,  Ardam ainda ??? " and she involuntarily nodded in yes and he left .

For a moment she stood there not knowing what all happened, she let her mind process for a few seconds only to let out a small word from her mouth , "gentleman ?" forming a cute smile on her face!!
What should she address this gesture more perfectly than that !!!

Flashback ends

True to that word he actually lived upto , that day , by saving her from embarassment and she recalled how he walked out of his study asking her to go home without any fuss - typical Raghav Rao!!! ( she was involuntarily smiling and shaking her head in disbelief )

["How can someone be rude and caring at same time ?" She thought . " Because it's RAO and it has to be true !! " Her mind answered 😉 ]

As she was caressing the coat she felt a warmth ; a warmth , that reminded her of his breath which she felt on her when he was trying to put his coat on her ; the warmth , of his eyes that were showering concern on her ; the warmth , of his touch on her skin while holding her and the warmth of his character which he never showed as a person ......

She was so lost in this feeling that she didn't  realise she had a busy schedule onto which she was running late ....... "Pallu ..." her Aai ( mom) screamed which brought her back to her senses . She replied , "aa rahi hoon .." and put back that coat in her cupboard securely in a place where she can safely protect the warmth it holded !!

She mentally reminded herself of returning this favor to Rao but how and when, she left that to time to decide for her!!!

She closed the cupboard amd her thoughts on Rao and hurried towards her busy schedule !!!!
