chapter - 6

Title : The letter

From the day she gave her word to raghav that she would not hide anything from him or her Aai and baba , she kept her word as a return gift to him for believing her when no one did. She told her Aai and baba all the things that she hid from them till that date and even shares what she does throughout the day without even missing the detail.

Today when she entered the home late, than her usual time, it was sure that people will question her. She was met by crazy stares of her kaku as if questioning her.

Sullu kaku : " kahan thi maharani ab tak ?"

Sharada (s) : " pallu tu aa gayi ?"

Vijay (v) : " aaj der hogaya beta !?"

P : " ha vo aaj sample collect karne gayi thi na RR Mansion, vahan par emergency ho gaya tha, Raghav teekh nai tha, toh doctor aaye, check up hua aur fir mein vahan se nikli ..... Toh thoda vaha par late hogaya... Sorry aai baba phone nai kar payi aap logon ko ... Vo itna hadbadi hogaya na ki bhool hi gayi mein "

S : " kya .... Raghav teekh toh hein na ? "

P : " han Aai .... Bas hosh aana baaki hein "

S : " mein na Bappa ke saamne diya jala ke aati hun .... Vo jald hi teekh ho jayega "

V : " kuch nai hoga usse ..... Chalo ab tum jaake fresh ho jao , saath mein khana khate hein ... Aao aao "

She nods and heads towards her room upstairs. She reaches and looks herself in the mirror looking at her condition. She was seemingly tired after all she has gone through earlier this evening. It scared her a lot to see him like that but his heart beats calmed her up.

She took out something from the draw of her dressing table and looked at it. The reflection of it on her face made her breath a little. She smiled at herself through mirror. She held it in her fist and held to herself. It mattered to her a lot. He did matter to her.

"pallu.... Jaldi aa khana tayyar hein " her Aai informed to which she said , " aa rahi hun" and left to freshen up herself.

The hot shower was much needed one to get herself back to normal. When she stepped out of washroom, her phone rings in a notification. She checked and it read ,

" Anna ko hosh aagaya hein aur doctor ne check up bhi kar liya hein .... Naye dawayi bhi likhi hein .... He had his dinner , medicines and slept peacefully"

She beamed in happiness as she now knew he is doing well. Her smile returned and she moved down to dinning table where everyone was waiting for her. She smilingly said hugging her Aai from behind,

P : " Aai , Bappa ne tumhari sun li ... Raghav ko hosh aagaya hein aur vo ab teekh hein "

V : " dekha... Mein ne kaha tha na... Kuch nai hoga usse .... Ab chalo khana khate hein"

S : " arey deva ! Bohot achhi khabar hein..."

They had their dinner and retired back to their rooms.

S : " aaho ! Suno toh "

V : " han Sharada bolo "
