Leo's eight years old in case your wondering.

Four years have gone by since Tiger Claw had adopted the mutant turtle tot named Leonardo and since that faithful night, Leo had been living life as a normal boy, well, as normal as it can get due to his appearance as a turtle.
Every morning, Leo would get up and put his pajamas in the washing machine before taking a bath and changing into his clothes for the day. After breakfast and teeth brushing, Leo would do chores but not as much as Splinter would give him (ex: clean his room, take out the trash, feeding Klunk, and load the dishwasher) before starting the school work he was assigned by Tiger Claw for the day. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, when Leo was finished with his schoolwork, Leo would head downstairs to the makeshift dojo in his basement and they would practice Ninjitsu together for an hour a day.
It was a quiet life and they wouldn't have it any other way until the day Tiger Claw brought home an egg, no, not your typical carton of eggs at the grocery store, no, it was an egg bigger than the eggs you get at the grocery store and what was inside the egg, was what shocked Leo most of all.

"There's a what inside the egg?"
"I know, I was shocked when Baxter told me this too."
The egg sat on the kitchen counter near the sink piled on with towels as Leo looked on in wonder.
"I didn't think turtles like me come from eggs dad," said Leo, "I thought I was transformed into what I am cause of some strange ooze."
"Well you did Leonardo," said Tiger Claw, "but regular turtles do come from eggs."
"So... I-I'm gonna be a big brother again?" Leo asked.
Tiger Claw chuckled and replied, "Yes Leonardo, soon you'll have a new brother or a new sister."
"W-When will he or she hatch?" Leo asked.
"In two months, he or she will be born around the same time you get out of school for vacation," said Tiger Claw.
Leo stared at the egg for a long time.
"Something wrong Leonardo?" Tiger Claw asked, "I thought you would be excited."
"I am, I am, but... but what if... what if he or she's like my old brothers?" Leo asked, "what if he or she doesn't care about me and lets me do the dirty work like I used to do?"
"Leonardo," said Tiger Claw, putting a paw on his shoulder, "not all children take their siblings for granted. You are a polite, kind, and courageous young boy and your new brother or sister will love you for you and will look up to you."
"It'll look up to me?" asked Leo.
"Yes my son," the tiger replied, "you will be an amazing big brother... trust me."
Leo smiled at his father.
Maybe he was right, maybe being a big brother wouldn't be so bad after all.

In the months that followed, Tiger Claw and Leonardo began to prepare for the upcoming arrival of their new family member by turning the guest room into the baby turtles room.
