Stalking

It was a normal day in Minecraft. Steve was with his friends Alex, Sarah, Claire, Todd and Jackson. They were trapped somehow in the world of Minecraft but Steve and the others have gotten used to it by now. They all lived in a large house together nearest to a village. The villagers were nice to them and in return, the players give them protection. They were basically their heros almost. Jackson was mining while Alex was cooking lunch and Sarah was tending to the animals in the small farm that they had. Claire and Todd were tending to the garden that they had. Meanwhile Steve was in the village. He was one for hard word but liked to do some calming things. Sometimes the villagers would call him the calming hero. Steve wasn't one for fighting but when he has to defend himself from a flesh eating zombie or a bone dry skeleton he would do it. He went to the Village's Library where he saw Mrs. Rosie. " Hello." He said to the villager. " Hello Steve. What can I do for you today?" She asked with a smile. " Well I was wondering if you had any new books?" He asked and she nodded  her head. "Actually yes we do. I'll go grab it right now." She said walking off. About a few minutes later she came back with a book. It was titled ' Monster's Origins and More.' Steve checked it out and walked out. He went into town and traded some emeralds he had found while mining. After that he walked home for dinner. 

After dinner, Steve and the rest of the gang decided to go to sleep for the night. Steve however didn't sleep, instead, he was reading the new book he had gotten. He read about the mobs and how they were started. One that caught his eye was the Ender Dragon. He read quietly to himself. " The Ender Dragon is the rarest creature in Minecraft. One that can only be found in the End. It has only few to little weakness. Swords and arrows don't work on its skin. But rather aim for it's under belly for it is the softest part of the dragon. Some say it is the pet of the Nether god known as Herobrine." He slowly said Herobrine. He continued to read and at the end it said. "The monsters of the night were created by Herobrine." Steve was so confused and yet so curious about who Herobrine was. ' I'll ask Rosie tomorrow. Maybe she can tell me.' Steve thought to himself. He placed the book on his nightstand and went to sleep.

In the morning Steve woke up. He walked into the living room to see Alex, already up and making breakfast with Sarah.

Jackson came in a few minutes later. " Hey Steve want to hit the mines with me today?" He asked. " Yeah i just have to return a book I got from the Village." Steve replied. " Cool just meet me by the front on the mines after your done." He said. Steve smiled but then felt a strange feeling of being watched. He ignored it and ate breakfast with his friends. Afterwards he went to the village and went straight to the library. He food Mrs. Rosie and returned the book. " Hey Rosie." Steve said. " Yeah Steve what's up?" She asked. " So I was reading the book and came across a name and I was wondering if you have any books about him." He said. " Sure Steve. What was the name?" She asked. " Herobrine." Steve said and Rosie's face turned cold. "Him?" She asked. " Yeah. I don't know who he is and was wondering if you can tell me about him or have any books on him?" Steve asked again. She disappeared and returned with only one book. It was fairly large and the title was. ' The God of the Nether' "Thank you." Steve said. " You can keep it if you wish. I was going to get rid of it anyways." She said and turned away from Steve. Steve placed it in his bag and left for the mines. Once he arrived, he saw Jackson at the front, ready for him. " Ready Steve?" He asked. "Yeah." Steve said. They both ended up splitting up in the mines to cover more ground. While Steve was mining, he read the book. Learning more and more about the Nether King. He read aloud to himself " He is a god. He holds many powers and is responsible for the monsters here in Minecraft. He mostly stays in the Nether region but has been spotted in the Overworld. His white blazing eyes are one of the scariest things about him. He is the master of all the hostile mobs." Steve moved to a different area and continued to read and mine as well. " His biggest companion is the Ender Dragon. Some say that there was a fight between the two of them. A girl from the real world by the name of Emily came to challenge Herobrine after he had taken her family hostage. She went to battle with him but the demon proved to be smarter. her family managed to escape just not the same. Shot by arrows with witch potions at the tip, they turned into the animals of Minecraft. Emily was shot by the arrow and slowly transformed into the Ender Dragon. The only one known to Minecraft. She bows down to Herobrine's every command." He felt bad for her. Losing her family like that must be horrible. He continued to read to himself. " Herobrine is considered a God. He is the brother of Notch, who created this world. He hated his brother and wanted to cause chaos. But during battle, Notch realized that the battle was pointless and sent his brother to the Nether where he could rule. He still comes to the overworld and may kill anyone he pleas." Steve decided to stop reading and head back up to the surface. He figured it was time for lunch with the others and so left. Little did Steve know that the cave mobs were in listening. Zombie and Skeleton were listening. " Ummmmm... Should we tell Master Herobrine about this?" Zombie asked. " Yeah I think we should. He might think of this as an interesting human to torture." Skeleton said. Then Enderman teleported them to the Nether.
