CHAPTER 13

Chloe POV

After the whole Lie-la incident, we went to class.

Mei: I feel weird.

Nino: Oh, she's gonna change back soon.

Alya: How soon? 

Alix: Like, a week and some days.

Adrien: NUUU!! SHE'S TOO CUTE LIKE THIS!!

Nino: I know, but she has to change back sometime.

Chloe: I must admit, she is adorable. I hope she can forgive me when she changes back.

Nino: Good job, dudette.

Chloe: thx.

~~After school~~

Adrien POV

I was at a photoshoot with Mei, when she came up to me. She looked a little pale.

Mei: I don't feel too good, can go home now?? pls?

Adrien: Ok

I wonder what's wrong. I checked her temperature and she was burning up. That's bad.

I called the first person that came to my head that could help. 

Adrien: Hello?

Nathalie: Yes? What's wrong, you sound worried?

Adrien: Umm, Mei is burning up and she said she doesn't feel good.

Nathalie: Ok, I'm on my way to pick you guys up, ok?

Adrien: Ok.

Mei was holding onto my leg.

Vincent: Let's start, get over here kid.

Vincent's eyes zeroed in on Mei, who was still following me. I new there will be trouble.

I brought out my phone and started videoing. Vincent started being very rude to me and the staff  a coupe months ago, before Mari turned into a child.

Vincent: We need to finish this shoot, move little girl!

Mei: NO!

Vincent: I don't have time for insolent children, so stop being an idiot and move!

Vincent was really rude and I didn't like it. She was just a kid. Mari's gonna get revenge, and it will cost Vincent.

I was honestly terrified when Mari whispered 'you're fired' and smirked. She whispered it, but I could hear her because she was closer to me. 

She put on a sad face, her eyes started watering and she started to cry. Who knew a toddler could act so well? I nearly fell for it. 

At that moment Nathalie showed up... with FATHER??!!?!?

I guess I'm getting a new photographer after all.

Nathalie came over to Mei and picked her up. 

Gabriel: Cancel the rest of the shoot. Go home.

The staff cheered and packed up for the day. We entered the car and drove off.

Adrien: Father, I need to talk to you when we get home.

Gabriel: Ok.
