Chapter 5

Valentina's POV

"HEY!" Sapphire stood in the corner of my room holding one of the curtains. Light poured into the room and i groaned. "What was that for?" I whined. She smirked and flipped a piece of hair away from her face. "Hello? Conner, Jack and Gwyneth are coming today!" She reminded me. My eyes widened and i rolled out of bed.

I hopped around on one foot as the other was trying to get into my black denim shorts. I raked my hands through my long black hair but it was not cooperating today. Sapphire was laughing her ass of in the corner. I took a peek at her and saw she was already dressed and ready to go.

"Bitch," I muttered. I put on my black and white high tops and a black under shirt under a silver crop top with the words 'I can't be tamed' written on them. I swiped on mascara even though i didn't really need it and attempted to comb my unruly hair. Saph smiled and walked over to me.

She grabbed my brush and gently proceeded to untangle my hair. I leaned back and closed my eyes. I had always loved this. She always took care of me and I of her. When we were little and had no one she would brush my hair until it shone and ,using pencils, curled it at the tips. Then i would turn around and do the same.

Even when she was 19 and i 18 we continued to keep our old habits. "There, finished." She said. I was jolted back into reality and smiled up at her. "Thanks sis," I whispered. She smiled and bit her lip. "No problem little sis." Then I remembered we had a group of boys in our living room.

"What about the boys?!"

"They went to get some fresh clothes."

"...What means of transportation?"

"Well....errr...ummm.."

"Spit it out."

"Your Jeep..?"

"MY WHAT?!"

I was enraged. I stood up and stalked over to her. I was about to lunge when the doorbell rang. "You are soooo lucky!" I hissed. Her eyes were wide and relieved. I stormed downstairs and attempted to put on a happy face. I assume i looked a little like this. >:}.
I swung open the door....and was immediately toppled on the floor.

"SISSIE!" Gwynn yelled. I smiled brightly and hugged her. "Gwynn its really you!" I laughed. I stood up and hugged Conner then Jack. "Hey guys," I said, Gwynn still hugging me tightly around my waist. "Hey sunshine!" Yelled Conner. I groaned playfully and pretended to shield my eyes from the sun.

They laughed and i turned to Jack. He was the complete opposite of Conner. Dark black hair formed a mop on his head and his sea green eyes glowed. "Hey gurlfrienddd!!" He joked. I laughed and hugged him again. "I've missed you Jack! You never tag along when Conner, Saph and I go anywhere!"

He simply smiled and ruffled my hair. Jack was probably my second best friend after Saph. He was Conner's younger brother by 2 years because he was 20 and Conner was 22. We walked over to the living room just as Saph walked down the stairs. "Baby..." Breathed Conner. Her eyes shot up and her face lit up.

Her appearance took even MY breath away. I couldn't examine her before but now i could see she went all out for this visit. Her long red hair tumbled down her back and curled gently at the end. Her lashes were long and coated with mascara. Her lips were ruby red, almost as dark as my own blood red lips.

Her eyes glittered and seemed huge. She wore shorts like mine ,but they were white. In fact her whole outfit was white so she looked like a ghost or an angle. "Conner!" She yelled. She ran towards him and leaped into his arms. He hugged her tightly and twirled her around.

"Come on lovebirds lets have breakfast," I chuckled. I grabbed 9 plates and set them on the table. Thank god our table could hold 10 people. "Ummm....why the extra plates Val?" Conner asked. I was about to reply when the door rang. I breathe out a sigh relief and went to open the door.
