I got off the plane and inhaled the fresh tropical air.
"Are you Dominique Lauder?" A girl asked me.
"Yeah, I'm here for the show." I mumbled.
"Perfect, come with me, I'll bring you to your hotel room where you will meet your instructor, he will help you look and be perfect on these dates." The girl said, she looked my age, maybe younger, with shoulder length curls and wide brown eyes.
She led me to a hotel, inside was the most beautiful thing you could ever see, white marble floors. A huge chandelier hung off the ceiling, which was about thirty to forty feet above my head. A long grey and black countertop elongated from one side of the room to another. Now this was a luxurious hotel.
The girl lead me to an elevator, up three floors, and to a hotel room. I stepped inside. The first thing you saw was a kitchen. It was big and had a coffee maker. The countertop was grey and white marble. A microwave sat on top of it. A rather nice stove from a brand I knew was expensive sat next to a stainless steel sink. Moving further into the room, you saw a king sized bed with a white comforter and white pillows with special little embroidery. Next to that was a nightstand, matching the theme, it was white and grey marble. The room was light up, a giant sliding door with a balcony had some grey curtains and very clean glass.
"Well, go in." The girl said.
I did as she said, but before I could say anything to her, she was gone.
I shut the door and set down my bag and suitcase.
I sat on the bed and ran my fingers down the soft silk mattress.
A few minutes went by before I heard a knock at my door.
I opened it, before my stood a man just older than me, maybe 27? With a sharp jawline, tan skin and blonde hair, his eyes big blue and bright.
"I'm Tyson, your instructor, you must be Dominique." He grinned a bright grin.
"Yes, I am." I said.
"First, you are meeting the other contestants in a few minutes, you should probably get dressed into some nicer clothes." He said.
"I have nothing nice." I said, which wasn't completely a lie, I just didn't have anything nice that was clean.
"No worries, I have just the thing for you." Tyson said.
He came back and tossed me a bathing suit at me.
"A bathing suit?" I asked.
"Oh I should have made myself more clear, you are meeting at a pool." He shrugged.
I look skeptically at the bathing suit and jogged got the bathroom. I threw it on, it was absolutely stunning, it was black with a gold ring, simple, yet gorgeous.
"Oh. My. God. You look gorgeous!" Tyson squealed.
I nodded.
"Oh, come on, you can meet the other contestants now." Tyson led me out of the door and to another fancy elevator. He led me down to the ground floor and to a pool area. He led me through two giant glass doors, and to an outside pool, palm trees' grew from all angles, the pool had a fountain, with fifteen other gorgeous men and woman.
"Attention contestants." A voice sounded over a speaker. "We have a new contestant joining us, meet Dominique Lauder!"
All eyes turned on me, some of them not so welcoming. Tyson had disappeared. So now I was stuck with people I didn't even know.
"Hey, I'm Dominique, if I like you, you can call me Dom." I said.
"Come in the pool, I need to get a closer look at you." A girl yelled.
I shrugged and jumped in.
"What are all your names?" I asked.
"I'm Lorelei, how ya doin'?" A girl said. Her eyes were emerald green, she had naturally red hair hair above her shoulders. Freckles dotted along her nose. Her skin was pale. She wore a gorgeous tie-dye bathing suit with a lot of rings.
"Jason." A boy with brown wavy hair said.
"Calista." A girl with tan skin, and long flowing hazel hair said. Her eyes blue and beautiful.
People kept saying their names until there was no one else to say it.
"Well, to welcome the new girl, we should play truth or dare." Jason said.
"Ooh, I'll go first, um, Dominique, truth or dare?" A girl named Gillian said.
"Eh, dare." I decided.
"Talk in an accent for the rest of the day." She said.
"Can I choose what it is?" I asked.
"Yeah."
"Eh, I can do a Russian one pretty well." I said.
"Then do it." Gillian said.
"Okay." I cleared my throat and started using an accent.
"Whoa, you are actually good at it." Jason said.
"Do not act surprised, I'm good at a lot of things." I said.
"Your turn, truth or dare someone." Gillian said.
"Okay, um, Lorelei, truth or dare?" I had a good idea of what I could do for her.
"Dare." She said almost immediately.
"Alright, I dare you to kiss the prettiest person here." I said.
She looked around, and then her eyes fell on me. She waded toward me and put her hands on my face and kissed me straight on the lips.
