Naira POV

Hi, I am Naira. I am 23 year old. I am an air-hostes in "Delta" (also the writers 2nd favorite airlines). I have been working in it for about 2 years now. Today, after 2 years, I am finally flying to India, specifically, Ahmedabad, my home town🇮🇳.

Not alot of people know that I am Indian, because of my fair skin and my American accent. Well its because that, I was born in Ahmedabad but at the age of 2, I shifted to America. I am basically mix blooded. My mom is American and my Dad is Gujrati.

I lost my whole family in a blast. I was 18 at that time. From 18 till now, I have been living alone. Well, I did part time jobs, other than studying to become and air-hostes. I really love my job.

Anyways, now, I am in my brief meeting. A brief meeting is basically a meeting between all air-hostes to discuss about their passengers. Their food presences, like dislike, allergies etc.

After our brief meeting, we are finally ready to board the plane. Everyone was now finally seated. I was walking through, checking if everyone was ok, when my eyes fall on an old lady, trying to fasten her seat belt.

"Here, let me help u with that!"

I said. I fasten her seat belt and she said "thank you" and I smiled and left.

It was night time now, I was walking down to see if anyone need help and my eyes fall on the same old lady. She was sitting down and crying silently. I immediately bent down towards her and said

"Why are u crying, all ok?"

"I miss my second son!"

Oh, so her second son also passed.

"I know how u feel, I also lost my entire family in a blast! But, than u have your other son, and your whole family waiting for you in Ahmedabad. Here let's get your mind off. How about a good movie?"

I on-ned a good movie for her. I left and went to get her a cup of tea. I am guessing that she is Indian. She was wearing an Indian suit. She is really sweet. Reminds me of my grandma.
