"You're what?!"A man with dark hair stared at his best friend with a shocked expression through his phone, completely blown away from his announcement.
"Nick, I wanted to tell you first before anyone else."The man on the phone claimed, watching as his best friend continues to stare at him with shock. Unable to answer him back at the moment, Nick gaped at him like a fish out of water.
"W-what about my mother, and Ah Ma?"Nick questioned, curious as to what his mother and grandmother had said about the announcement.
"Eva is there with them right now. She wanted to break the news to both of them."The man answered with a nervous smile on his face.
Nick nodded quietly, silently processing the news through his head. Slightly upset that his sister, his own twin sister hadn't told him first. Nonetheless, he was still happy for her and his best friend.
"Nick, you good, man?"The man asked, waiting for Nick's response.
"Yeah, just take care of my sister, Colin."Nick said, sternly staring at his best friend. They both stared at one another in silence before bursting into a fit of laughter.
"You know I would never do anything to hurt her."Colin said as they both started to calm down from their laughing.
"Good, because I won't be the one you should be worried about, Colin."Nick said, reminding his friend who he would deal with if the Young princess was hurt by the said man.
Colin nodded nervously, knowing the wrath that would fall upon him and his family if he ever thought of hurting the precious gem of the Young family. Eleanor Young would rain fury upon him if she found out that he had hurt her beautiful daughter in some type of way.
Nick also loved to remind Colin, that his father would hunt him down to the face of the earth if he ever made Evangeline Young, his little princess, shed tears down her face.
"I know, trust me. Your father called me earlier, and threatened to destroy my family and me if I ever thought of hurting his little girl."Colin said heavily, terrified with his encounter with Mr. Young.
Nick laughed at what he said, nodded in agreement to what Colin had said and to what his father had said to him.
"You're invited, and you can bring Rachel so we can finally meet her."Colin said, staring at his friend with a raised eyebrow.
