Localville High School
My alarm clock went off at 8:00 am; my first reaction was to hit the snooze button, I rolled over in my bed then remembered that it happened to be the first day of Localville High School. With a moan I rolled out of bed, my hair was a mess, and my eyes had that glassy look. I stood in fount of the mirror staring at myself for a moment. Then I remember the moment I meet David, it was something about standing if fount of a mirror that I remembered made me remember him. I pulled a bush thought my hair to try to make it a little less tangled. It work and then I striated my hair; I bushed my teeth and put on deodorant. Then I changed out of my pajamas and into my favorite T-shirt, Jamie gave it to me, and it said 'Good Girls come from Indiana. Bad Girls come from Florida!' A pair of jeans, and my gray converses. I walked down stairs. I walked into the dining room and no one was there. There was a small arced opening that leads to the kitchen. It was my first time in the kitchen, and it was every woman's dream. All the appliances glissaded in the light, and the counter top was made up of beautiful garnet, and all the apaches where stain-less steel. There was a note lying near a plate of pancakes. Mom must have woken up early and make pancakes before going back to sleep. I picked up the note and it was signed by David, I quickly read the note so that I could put it in my pocket or somewhere my parents couldn't find it. It read: Good Moring Sleepy Head, Sorry about you parents not awake yet, I was thinking about giving them a little wake up call, but that would be rude. So instead of waking your mother up I made you pancakes, I hope you enjoy them. I'll be at you doorstep when you come outside. You're Friend, David I stared at the beautiful handwriting that David written on the piece of paper. I got lost in the prefect loops of the word and almost forgot about the pancakes. Quickly I ate the homemade pancakes, I felt bad that I didn't have time to sit down and enjoy every bit of them. I grabbed my backpack that had my books in them and ran out the door. When I did this I also ran into David. I looked up at him and was embarrassed that I did such an idiotic thing. "Sorry, I was in such a rush I forgot you where waiting for me." Because of our collision all of his things fell to the ground I bent over to help pick up his things.
"It's ok and you don't have to be in a rush school starts a 9:00 and it's only 8:15." He replied as he put all of his things in his black and white checker board backpack.
"Sorry, I guess I need to fix my alarm clock, I so used to being in a different time zone."
"That's how it always is when you flew to a place in a different time zone. I was wondering is your shirt correct?"
"What do you mean is my shirt correct?"
"I mean that your shirt says 'Bad Girls come from Florida'. Is it true are you really a bad girl?"
"No, I'm not a rebel and sorry if that disported you." After I said that he laughed quietly, I didn't even bother to asks him way, because would be a long draw out explanation. I started my way to the school and he fallowed like a shadow, just like last night. Then it hit me he was a ghost, he looked so real. I stopped and turned around; there he was looking at me with a puzzled look on his face wondering why I stopped. He was not transparent, his green eye stood out the most. "You're not transparent." I said in an excided whisper so that no one but him could hear.
"Yep. Let me just say that had all my gratitude goes out to the cosmetics' company." He admitted with a foolish smile. I smiled at him then turned around to continue walking. Soon we reached the high school, I turned to him about to ask if it was really necessary to go in, but he read my mind before I could say anything. "Yes, we have to go in. Trust me I don't want to either." Slowly we walked into the light brown hallways. Every wall was coved with hunter green lockers, and the floors where an off-white that clashed with the walls. There was a list on the wall that everyone was crowed around. I walked over to the crowed of student, and managed to shove past all the other student and get a good look at the paper. It had the names of all the students' name, locker number, and first period teacher. I scanned thought the other names till I found my name, my locker number was 141, and my first period teacher was Ms.Landerman, the math teacher. I found a path that lead out of the group of students trying to see there information. I tripped on someone's shoe and almost fell on the ground but luckily I fell into David's arms instead. "You all right?" David asked a huge smile eliminated his face.
