Chapter 8: Talks

"Monkey D. Luffy" luffy shivered hearing his name coming out from his father's mouth.

Dragon let out a sigh "I am not angry luffy I'm just disappointed, how long have this been going on?" Dragon turn around looking at his son who's looking down with a blank face "Two years" he hesitantly said, it feels more like a whisper than a reply.

"From now on you won't be seeing him ever again, you'll be changing school too." Luffy look up at his father disbelief "but dad I have my friends here! You can't just dive me to another school it's like leaving behind something very important to me!" Luffy shouted angrily at him, Dragon just look at him blankly.

"I'm afraid you can't disobey me, as your father I want you to do exactly what I say" Luffy became more angrier by his statement "I have people that I love in their plus I love torao you can't take him and my friends away from me! I'm your son, you should let me do that makes me happy, not being a father that keeps his son away from his happiness!" Luffy snapped making Dragon frown.

"I am not taking away your happiness, I'm doing this for your own good." Dragon corrected with a calm voice.

"But doing this thing you so-called doing-for-my-own-good, Doesn't even felt right!" Luffy slam his hand of his father's desk.

"Luffy that's enough" his grandfather spoke behind.

"BUT GRANDPA-"

"Do not raise your voice at your elders, luffy" Garp spoke in much more serious tone.

"As what your father said, This is for your own good so you must listen to him" luffy growl marching out of the room which is dragon's office.

"He's stubborn you know that right gramps?" Ace said standing up as he made way to the door luffy marches off.

"I know" Garp reply.

"Will be going now, will try to comfort him" Sabo said also leaving.

A long sigh was let out it was Dragon, Garp chuckled as he sat in the couch.

"You seem more stress than before Dragon." Garp said eating his cookies.

"I don't like interfering his relationship but I also don't like it that his dating the son of that person." Dragon replied sipping his black coffee.

"Rosinante isn't the type of person to kill someone, and I know you know that." Dragon put his drink down before looking at his father.

"If he didn't kill hack then who? He was the only one I saw when I arrived their, he was even holding the gun" Garp continued eating and answered.

"Maybe he got accused, The murderer must have run off after they killed him, plus, as far as I know rosinante didn't even know what happened, he told me, that the first thing he saw was hack's blooded body lying on the cold floor, he even said he didn't know why he was holding the gun." Garp explained.

"I don't like where this is going, are you trying to make me think that I was wrong and say that he's not the person who killed him?" Dragon look straight through his father's eyes.

"Yes, That difinetly what I was trying to say. He maybe clumsy and do thing like burning himself with his cigarette but he would never do such thing as killing someone." Garp got up and spoke more word to dragon. "What if you really are wrong, don't get too full of yourself dragon, one day you'll know what mistakes you've done in your path" And walk away leaving dragon in his room sighing.

'I sigh too much today' he thought and continue doing his paper work.

"Law why didn't you told me your dating luffy?" Corazon asked.

"Because, you and his father don't get along that's why" law said crossing his arm.

Rosinante sighed, Law just look down not wanting to make eye contact with him.

"Law, the truth is, Dragon was once a friend of mine, but" law patiently waited for him to finish.

"There was an accident that happened and I was accused by it" law was shock by the new discovery 'what kind of accident?, he got accused? and he was a friend of luffy's father? what happened back then?' Law was having so many questions popping on his mind when he suddenly ask.

"Did you got arrested?" Rosinante shock his head no, law was kind of relief to know it. "Why?" Law asked again.

"Do you want me to get arrested?" Law immediately shock his head. "That not what-" Corazon laugh at him.

"I was just messing with you" law made a face and rosinante continue his story. "Garp-san was there he protected me from getting drag by the police saying I was innocent" a smile crept at Rosinante's lips as he have always admire Garp for being such a cool and kind hearted person.

"Luffy-ya's Grandfather?" Law mentioned, getting a nod from his father.

"But I think it's best for you to stay away from luffy since dragon probably wouldn't allow it" Rosinante said as law look at him with wide eyes "Wait, you want me to stay away from my boyfriend?" Law repeated, again gaining a nod from him.

"Cora-san you can't do that!" He said calling him by his nickname he made when he was little.

"I'm sorry law but luffy might be doing the same knowing dragon he may have force him to do it" Rosinante replied.

"Hell no! I won't stay away from him, whatever you say, I won't!" Law headed out Rosinante sighed.

'Am I sighing too much than I usually should?' He asked himself but shrug it off.
