Tortured, A Loki story.

Nightmares

Sorry for not updating in ages! I've been pretty busy with school.

The gaurds led Loki into a luxurious and spacious room. It had a bed against the back wall and a couch in the corner, facing a fireplace. There was also a bookcase, filled with what looked to be like midgardian classics.

The gaurds walked out of the room, closing but not locking the door. Loki stumbled over to a small table beside the couch, which held a large tray. The tray was full of food, bread, cheese, grapes, steak and wine.

Loki grabbed the wine glass, grateful for something to quench the thirst that the boiling room had induced in him.

He drank the wine quickly, then grabbed the bread and smothered it in cheese, stuffing it into his mouth.

Loki continued to eat, less and less frantically as his stomach grew fuller.
After he finished the food, he looked at the bed longingly.

Loki walked to the bed and fell onto it. He left the covers off as he was still too hot, then slipped into a fitful sleep.

"Loki, you stupid boy, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?"
Faces swirled around him, screaming abuse and some in agony.
"You are not my brother, not anymore"
Loki tried to grab at the faces, but his hands passed through them as they continued to shout.
Frigga's face swirled into view.
"You have ruined our family you monster! I'M ASHAMED TO CALL YOU MY SON"

Loki jolted out of his dream, icy shivers running down his already cooled down spine. He sat up and held his head in his hands. Tears started to well in his eyes as he thought of his mother's angry face.

He got up from the bed and walked over to the small table which had held the tray of food. The tray was gone now, replace with clothes. Black trousers, a light green cotton shirt, a dark green jacket and a pair of black leather boots were in its place.

Loki quickly slipped on the clothes and pulled the boots onto his feet. He glances over at the bookshelf, a book with gold edges catching his eyes.

Loki took the book and sank down into the couch. He flipped the cover and started reading.

In the throne room:

"How do you know we can trust him" Ebony maw asked Thanos.
"Surely since he's a god the mind control won't affect him properly?"

"Ebony, that scepter is very powerful. He won't get out of its control anytime soon."
