It was turning night when Astraea explored around the safe house that they found, seeing as she had nothing better to do. She first made sure her brother and Elise were safe and sound asleep before leaving the room to go outside.

'This timeline seems to pass by quicker than last time, it's just been a few days since the eclipse, and yet I'm already picking up traces of abnormal undead animals' she thought walking around aimlessly. 'Guess I need to prepare'

She mumbled to herself before walking towards the forest as the sun quietly disappeared through the trees.

...
It had been at least a few hours of walking and relaxing as
Astraea looked around at the darkened forest with a sigh.
"Let's see if this body can handle summoning at least one," she mumbled, finally deciding to attempt a summon.

She held her hand out and closed her eyes, feeling the familiar pull as different shadows sprung together and created a big ball of black clouds. She made it hover higher on her hand before she manipulated the light the moon reflected and shined it directly on the black mass, she then used a small blade to drip some of her blood onto the ball.

She felt herself become weak and dizzy but pushed forward.

'Just a little more'

She thought to herself before completing the process and collapsing to her knees. Breathing heavily, she looked up towards the black ball to see it glowing white.

It broke open and revealed a glowing black and white mist that grew larger as it flew around.

Astraea watched it with a huge smile on her face.

Once the mist was large enough to surround her body, it flew in front of her as it took shape. Big majestic black and white wings flapped up as it reveals its shimmering white body that reflected the glow of the moon. The creature bowed its head and stared right into her eyes, revealing the same glowing mint orbs.

After a few minutes, Astraea stood in front of a large pure black bird, its wings and tail looked to have black fog dripping down, the eye of the creature opened to reveal identical mint-colored eyes that glowed as it stared back at the young girl.

"Lune... Welcome back" Astraea greeted while the bird-like creature transformed its body to a smaller version of himself and perched on her shoulder.

"It is good to be back, my lady. Although it seems like you summoned me earlier than last time"
The bird chirped, which Astraea immediately was able to understand. She scratched his head before answering back.

"This current timeline is moving faster than the last one... Lune, fly around, and scout the area, report to me if you see anything unusual. Until then, you know where to find me" she instructed as the bird creature nodded and flew away, disappearing in a cloud of smoke.

Astraea stares off into the forest, before looking around and manipulating the moonlight to show her the path back to the direction of the house.

___

She walked through the house towards the dining area to find where they put the first aid kit when she felt shadow particles around the area that she didn't do.
