We need a cure

Manny's POV

Elsa had disappeared once again, so I went to the only people I knew that could tracker. My team the light keepers. I went to them and North told me she had seen Elsa and Frosty boy only moments ago at a pet shelter.

I nodded and asked them to keep an eye on them, when Elsa was hurt and Jack was a chosen to be a light keeper, the Guardians had to interfere. Jack and Elsa would be killed.

Soon after they went through the portal, they came back with Jack and an unconscious Elsa in his arms. They all introduced themselves but I couldn't take it anymore.

"What in G*d's name have you done to my daughter Frost?!" I asked angrily.

He looked at mw but then back to Elsa. He ignored my question and picked her up and put her on the sofa.

"My father cut her with a poisoned knife. The poison was lithrium." He told me. I gasped and looked at Jack.

"How do I save her?" He asked not taking his eyes off of my daughter for a second.

I sighed and patted his back. I too looked at my daughter with tears welling up in my eyes. I kissed her forehead anf Jack held her hand.

"Jack, daddy?" I soft voice asked. I looked at Elsa and saw that her eyes were open but heavy. She wohld drift into sleep again.

"How is this possible?" I asked. She should be dead.

"I thought that maybe it was because she's an ice keeper but-"

"Wait, an ice keeper? But she's mortal!" I almost shouted. That's why she locked herself in her room after her mother died. She's the emotional ice keeper.

"Guardians and Jack, look after her, I need to go." I told them. While I was nearly out the door, Jack sped in front of me.

"Where are you going?" He asked me.

"To read, there's a chance we can save Elsa." I told him before leaving once again.

Jack's POV

After Manny left, I went back to Elsa and sat by her side holding her hand. I started to cry.

"Elsa, please don't leave me." I begged.

I looked at her face and saw her trying hard not fall back to sleep. So I decided to talk to her to get her to stay with me.

"Elsa, remember a few years ago when you had to leave vampire mountain? I said I couldn't lose you, I had a feeling i would see you again. Elsa, I need you. I'm not sure if iwill get you back this time. Elsa please, I can't lose you again."

I had tears streaming down my cheeks as I held her hand continuing to talk, "Elsa, you can't leave me here. Please fight. There are so many things we could do together. I love you." I kissed her forehead and cupped her face in my hands.

I felt a hand on my face wipe away my tears. I saw Elsa. She was weak, but she was awake.

"You won't lose me Jack. I love you. Love can get through anything." My tears fell onto her cheek as she sighed.

I put my forehead on hers and placed my lips on hers. I felt her wet cheek and I know she felt mine. I don't know what I would do without her, "you made me a better person Elsa. Please-"

"Jack, love will find a way. You won't lose me. If you would I would've been dead by now."

I smiled at her and held her hand again looking deep into her blue eyes. I heard her gulp and she started to burn up again.

I rushed to get a glass of water for Elsa and when I came back, Tooth was already by her side.

"She's a special one Jack. I believe she can make it." She said. I smiled and she patted my back as my eyes went back to Elsa.

And at that moment, Manny burst in, "I found........ I found.... I found"

"Manny spit it out!" I yelled. I banged my staff on the floor and ice spread everywhere. Manny flinched for only a second but said the words I had longed for, "I think I found a cure..."
