Her dark messy hair stuck to her ashen face as she ran through the building's empty parking lot, her heavy breathing making her every next move harder and harder. Her legs moving swiftly beneath her, she ignored the burning pain of her muscle, the quiet voice in her head telling her it's a warning-they won't be able to hold her much longer.
Just as she reached the small door for the exit, her body seemed to give up.
She clutched herself to the railing of the short stairs, finally managing to get out of the building.
The night sky shined on her silky night dress, and the soft breeze, cooling her heated body down, making the excruciating pain less unbearable.
Her limbs were finally able to relax, as she kneeled on the sidewalk, the felling of cold concrete on her bare legs sending shivers down her spine.
But she couldn't rest. Not now. She couldn't throw away everything she had done to complete the plan.
As quick as she drooped down before, she stood up, now clutching a small device, that was previously attached to her dress.
With a pain still flaming inside her, she ran one last time.
Her heart speeding up again, she made it to the other side of the road, and once she was far enough, she pressed the small button on the device. She kept running on the sidewalk, and continued until she heard the building behind her explode with a blazing fire.
Once she was seated in a bench in a park, still heavily panting, and could hear the distant sound of the sirens, she brought a small microphone-like device to her mouth.
"It's done."
