Chapter 4

LOUIS POV:

Once we all got up the next morning and have breakfast and finished packing, well most of us. We still had the slacker who waits till the last 10 minutes to start packing. "Niall mate come on. Why do you always do this, you wait till the last second." I roll my eyes at him and he just laughs and continues to pack. But while we are waiting on him the rest of us are packing the car up and making sure we have everything we need for the trip. I on the other hand make sure I have everything for the surprise I'm giving harry because if I leave anything here that is suppose to be apart of it then the whole thing is ruined. I go down my check list and check everything off that I have in my bag and I got it all. "Louis come on Niall is done and we need to get started on the road." I hear Liam call for me so I grab my bag and head down the stairs and out to my car. We are taking two cars incase someone needs to be back for anything or emergencies. Liam, Zayn and Niall are all in Liams car and me and harry are in mine. We all hop in our cars and start on our adventure. I give Harry the aux cord and told him he is the dj for the ride and I wish I could frame up the smile he had on his face when I said that. He starts playing one of our favorite songs we listen too and I know by the start that its gonna be a fun ride.

Or so I thought it was gonna be fun. We were driving for almost 3 hours already and we decided to stop for a break. We all get out and stretch and then Niall speaks up. "I'm switching cars when we get back on the road. Liam and Zayn are no fun all they do is give each other love stares and keep giggling to each other its gross. Plus I know Hazza and Lou have the best music to listen too." Niall says and I'm not to mad at him for wanting to switch cars I don't blame him for wanting to switch but I also was really enjoying just me and Harry time. I'm pretty sure Niall can read my mind because before we all get back in the cars he comes up to me and whispers, "don't worry Lou, you'll have plenty of alone time with Harry when we get to the cabin." He tells me with a wink and a smile. I roll my eyes at him and get in the car and see that Harry is already set to go. He turns to look at me when I get in and smiles so big at me. "I have the perfect song to play so hurry up and nialler you better be ready to sing along or you are getting kicked out and going back to the other car." Harry tells us with the same smile still on his face. I pat his thigh and I can see him look at my hand the whole time I did it and he just looks back up at me with red cheeks. He is the cutest human ever, I'm so in love with him. "Well lets hear what song you picked my dear hazza I'm ready to go." I tell him with a smile and start the car and follow Liam back onto the road.

HARRYS POV:

As we head back on the road I am getting ready to play the song and I just know I picked a good one when Louis turns to look at me when it starts playing. "You picked a song I wrote? Why? Also Niall, he is right, if you don't sing then you are kicked out of our car." He tells Niall and he just laughs "Well I like this song, plus it gets me really excited every time I listen to it so why not play it and get even more excited for the trip. Oh and also because I like listening to your songs a lot." I say the last part in a whisper hoping he won't hear me say that but judging by the smile that appears on his face I'm pretty sure he heard me. So as we are on the road screaming 'Kill My Mind' by my favorite person in the world who will never be mine because I'm to much of a baby to confess my feelings to him, I am very happy because I feel like this trip is going to be really fun and I'm so ready for it.

We have been driving for a while now and Louis has to pee so we pull over again and he goes inside a gas station to use the bathroom. I turn to Niall and ask, "hey ni, did you happen to bring your guitar?" I ask and he looks at me confused before saying, "no but I am pretty sure Louis did why?" I look down at my lap not sure if I want to tell him this but I figured why not since he already knows I like Louis. "I kinda wrote a song for Louis." I say in a whisper. "You wrote a song for him?" He asks me and his eyes are huge and he has a massive grin on his face. "Uh yeah I did, is that weird? Should I not have done that?" I ask and start to get worried. "No it's okay, it's perfect actually. Don't be all shy about it I think it's really sweet. When do you plan on singing it to him?" He asks me and I give him a tiny smile and say, "I actually thought about doing it while we are on our trip. Do you think that's a good idea?" "YES!! I mean, yeah I think that would be cool. What day do you plan to sing it?" I haven't really thought about that but I think I'm gonna wait till tomorrow night maybe. "I'm not sure yet but I was thinking maybe tomorrow night I could while you guys are out and about. You guys will most likely go to a bar or something and we all know me and Louis don't do bars after what happened last time." I tell him and he rolls his eyes but agrees with me. "That sounds perfect haz, he is going to love it I already know. What is the song called?" Niall asks me and before I can get the words out of my mouth the car door opens and Louis gets back in. "I'm back guys. I got us all something to drink if you want. I thought we could use something to get us more awake since we still have like 2 more hours." Louis says as he passes the drinks to me and Niall. "Thanks Lou, this is much needed I was ready to fall asleep back here." Niall tells him and I say a small thank you and we begin driving again. I'm looking out the window when I feel my phone buzz with a text message and I look down at it to see it was Niall. Why is he texting me if he is right behind me in the same car. I roll my eyes but see what he texted me.
