KIERA POV

"What does it say?" everyone kept looking over my shoulder, trying to read it.

"One second!" I yelled, slightly annoyed. Everybody nodded and sat down quietly

I looked down and read the letter.

"Dear pawns,

I'm sure you're already questioning why you're in Paris at the same time, exactly one year after your friend's disappearance. You're right, it's not a coincidence. But it's not only that, you were all in that bar, at the same moment on the same day at the same time that she was taken. I hope you think that's suspicious, I love playing with my prey before I destroy it. I hope you're all scared, because Keeley's disappearance was only the distraction. I just needed to find a way to get you all together, the way I did was just the fun way to torture you all slowly. Please try to run away, I will collect you all in another year and it will be very fun to see you all suffer. No, I will not be explaining why, that would just make the game less fun, I will leave you for a year, pondering on why I'm doing this. I'll be watching.

I immediately closed the letter and looked around the room. Everyone's faces were pale, I was guessing mine was too, but mine always is. We all stayed silent until Giselle spoke up.

"I think we all need to stay away from each other, not contact one another, you know, except Noah and Emma" she said, everyone nodded.

Liam looked around "we should probably also take different planes back, anything could happen, they wants to play with us and we should watch our steps and make sure we don't fall into their traps"

Nickeala stood up "I think I am going to home now, I live the closest, I guess I will see you all in a year, no offence, but I really hope not" she gave us all hugs then quickly left.

"Emma, we should probably get going, I just booked a flight and its coming in like five hours" Noah said, Emma nodded.

Noah gave us each hugs, He hugged me for the longest, I don't thing either of us wanted to let go, I mean, no contact for a whole year... yeesh. then he waited at the door for Emma.

Emma went around giving hugs, she hugged me quickly then Giselle, then Keeley, who she said she would see at school. Then she went to Liam. She whispered something in his ear that sounded something like "I'll miss you" then she kissed him on the lips for at least five seconds. After that, she quickly walked to the door, they waved and walked out of my house.

Liam looked around awkwardly "did that just happen?"

GISELLE POV

I nodded awkwardly then walked over to Keeley I hugged her tightly for a long time, then I realized I was crying.

She was crying too "we just found each other, and now we have to be apart again, I don't know if we can last another year without you"

I looked down than into her eyes "we'll still see each other, at school, we just can't be together" I said.

"That makes it even worse" she said quietly.

I sighed and gave her another tight hug.

"Uh, I'm gonna go..." Liam said slowly then stepped out the door.

Keeley and I laughed quietly through the tears.

"I have to go before I can't let go" Keeley said, hugged Kiera, then left.

"Well, I guess it's goodbye, see you whenever, I guess" I hugged Kiera then headed back home.
