"jaden, can you open the door? i'm a little busy right now." jaden heard alexis scream from downstairs.
alexis was jaden's best friend since elementary school and roommate since a few days. she had just turned eighteen and immediately asked jaden if she wanted to move into an apartment together.
now that they were finally living together, they had a lot of things they still needed to do. clean the apartment, paint the walls, buy furniture, explore the neighbourhood and all of that.
quickly, jaden ran downstairs to open the door, only to see a very familiar face looking right at her.
"ciarán, hi, come in!" she gave him a hug, took his hand and practically dragged the poor guy inside.
"i'm so happy you're here right now! i wanna show you everything we have so far. you want anything to drink?" jaden was very excited, considering ciarán was the first real guest in their new apartment.
"you have any coffee?" he asked. she nodded and took him into the kitchen, which was looking very good so far. she poured him some coffee and dragged him upstairs, to show him alexis' bedroom and then her own bedroom.
"so this is where the magic happens." she gestured at her room, looking very pleased. the room was decorated with all kinds of vintage things, like vinyls, cd's, movie posters and so on.
"looks sick, jade." he smiled and by the looks of it he was excited for her. "you did this all by yourself?" he asked to which jaden nodded in response. the two began talking about the apartment and school, making the time pass very quickly.
after a while, alexis joined both jaden and ciarán in their conversation. the rest of the evening consisted mostly of talking and showing the things they'd done so far. after a while ian and romil showed up, followed by nearly everyone. the apartment tour turned into a movie night, making them all fall asleep on the couch on a school night. very smart if you ask me.

"guys, wake up! school starts in like twenty minutes." jaden hurried after she saw the time on her phone. she rubbed her eyes and opened them to the sight of kiko running to his car with one sock on, followed by merlin holding kiko's car key up. jaden chuckled and walked towards the bathroom to quickly get ready.
by the time she finished brushing her teeth and putting on some decent clothes, only her, alexis, ciarán and ian were left. everyone was ready to leave, just in time.
