Unexpected feelings (Lemonpai/Lemon Demon x Senpai fanfic)

A/N: Sorry I died, I was working on art vjhjdjcjsj, but I'm back! Maybe I'll post the art here if ppl want me to :)

     The dentist itself was fairly normal, appearantly Sen was right about people not noticing him as a giant red cloud because literally nobody said anything about him during the visit. Senpai had a little bag that consisted of a toothbrush, toothpaste, floss and stickers (he got one for Sen too because who doesn't like stickers?) and with that they were off to the school. It was a seemingly normal walk there until Sen suddenly whispered,

"Hey... C-can we go into that alleyway real quick?"

I'm not risking it, Senpai thought as he quickly responded with "No! Why do you wanna go there?"

"W-well... It's just that... My form isn't exactly... P-presentable to them..."

"Oh... Why don't you just go the way you are? You don't have to explain anything because I can do that for you! And I'm certain they won't mind in the slightest!"

"N-no..! It's not... That. It's just that I-I'm not sure if they'll accept me... Like this..."

"Dude. Lemon Demon is a literal monster with a Lemon for a head. Those kids tried summoning you BECAUSE you're spooky! Something tells me they won't mind at all!"

"Y-Yeah... You're right but I'm still n-nervous..."

"Hey, it's ok! Take it easy, worse case scenario is that they get a little spooked!"

With that they continued their walk. They made it to the classroom to see it was empty aside from the spooky kids and Lemon Demon.

"There you are Senpai, we thought you weren't comi-" Lemon Demon stopped and looked directly at spirit before asking, "Who's this?"

"H-Hey..." Was spirit's only response.

"I like him! He looks spooky!" Skid said and Pump just stared at him, his eyes glowing blue.

"Ah, this is spirit! You guys probably know him as Sen!" Senpai responded, hoping their looks of confusion/fear would go away once he said that. They didn't.

"That's not Sen! Sen has green and blue eyes, this guy's eyes are red!" Skid quickly argued.

"Sen..?" Pump still looked scared, actually he looked even more scared.

"S-sorry, this was a bad idea..." Sen said as he transformed into his 'human' form. "I... I'm going to go now..."

     He was quickly stopped by the spooky kids tackling him, although Pump's eyes were still blue.

"Woah! That was so cool!" Pump exclaimed.

"Can you do it again, Mr. Sen?" Skid bounced on top of Sen and he responded with a grunt.

"O-ow..."

"Hey kids, you're hurting him." Lemon Demon said and Senpai helped Sen get up.

"So where exactly did you come from? You're a spirit which means you were summoned... Right?"

"W-well... You see..."

     Sen and Senpai had explained everything and as soon as they finished the spooky kids shouted, "We did it!! We actually summoned a spirit! And he's really cool!"

     Sen had been quickly bombarded with questions as they pratically dragged him out of the room.

"So... I have something I need to return to them which is why-"

"Hey, it's cool! I'll give it to them later."

     Senpai decided to break the awkwardness by asking a ridiculous seeming question.

"Wanna go out? I mean, to eat! Or... Not eat, maybe just go to the park, you know!"

"Sure! There's this really good bakery down the road I like, their stuff is REALLY good! Probably because they use homemade recipes!"

"Awesome! We can go right now since Sen's hanging out with the kids!"

"Great! It's been a while since we've hung out, I kinda missed it!"

He... Missed hanging with me..? Senpai felt flustered as Lemon Demon grabbed his hand and after telling Sen everything, went off to the cafe.

He held my hand..! Senpai felt himself smiling the whole way there.
