CHAPTER TEN╚══════ ≪≫°✺°≪ ≫ ══════╝
IT WAS UNKOWN WHAT happened down in the Black Lake. As a result of this, Ron over-exaggerated. A lot. Corvus loved it, it meant Ceil was excessively pissed off and, to Corvus, Ceil being aggravated was the funniest thing in the world.
"For Rowenas sake, Weasley!" Ceil had snapped at Ron one evening as they passed eachother in the halls. He was telling a second year his version of what happened in the Blake Lake. "You couldn't fight mermen if you were unconscious!" Ceil snapped, grabbing Corvus' and Olive's arm and stalked down the hall.
"Could you believe him?" He sneered, face slightly red. Corvus and Olive shared a look before laughing. Ceil looked back, frowning.
"What?" He asked. Corvus struggled to keep his face straight.
"Oh, Ceil," Olive managed. "No one believes him. That's what makes it so funny."
As they entered March, the weather became drier, but cruel winds skinned their hands and faces every time they went out onto the grounds. There were delays in the post because the owls kept being blown off course. Ceil had owled his mum right before the second task and his owl, Esmée, just returned that Friday morning.
