Chapter 24

Aria Pov~
"We have this book called the Octibutary it has our whole future and all our components in this one book." I explain.

"There is a part where it talks about The Guardian, which is a family member of Aria and they are supposed to Guard her and our children." Blake says.

"Your supposed to have a special connection with us, we are kinda like one. Just like the pendent, all the ten stars are connected to one. Which means me and my children are all connected to you." I explain.

"That doesn't make any sense how am I supposed to protect all of you, I am just 1 person." Henry says

"I'm not sure, we need some help with that part. But you did say that you could feel my emotions, so that must mean something right?" I ask.

"I guess." He says unsure.

"We will call the Elder's and they will be here by morning. For now Henry get some rest and we will continue this tomorrow." Blake says.

Henry nods, says goodnight and leaves.

I turn and notice Blake is already in bed all snuggled up, looking cozy.

I join him and we both drift off sleeping, which I am glad my babies let me get any rest at all.

"Elder's are outside!" Conner says running into our office.

"Ok bring them in." Blake instructs.

Conner nods and leaves, Henry Blake and I were going over The Octibutary to see if we find any more clues on The Guardian. We came up short at the end. I am hoping The Elder's have some answers for us.

"This is hopeless." Henry exclaims.

"Not really, Mr. Davis." Romeo says walking into the room with Julius behind him.

"Elder's thank you for coming on such short notice." Blake says.

"No problem, for you guys we would do anything." Julius says.

I gave them a warm smile and gestured them to the couch. "Have a seat."

"We did some research on "The Guardian" in our copy of The Octibutary." Romeo starts off.

"And?"

"We found information you already know. But we did uncover something new." Romeo says.

"Before we get to that, Henry do you have any questions?" Julius asks.

"Umm, yea how am I supposed to do my job? Do I need some special training?" Henry asks.

"We believe it will come natural, for now it seems that you don't feel it 100% because you actually haven't done your job of protection yet." Julius explains.

"So, the minute he protects me, or one of my kids his instincts will kick in?" I ask.

"Yes. It's like a trigger, you need a target to aim at." Romeo says.

"That thought ties in with the new info we found. Henry has heightened abilities, he will be able to track , hear, attack, smell, strength, and so much more. Those will all be amplified 100%. We got some information out of Marcus-"

"You mean tortured." I state cutting Romeo off.

"Yes. He was looking for Henry as a back up. What he didn't know was that Henry would be your Guardian." Marcus finishes.

"So what now? Are we really going to believe that he has no other ulterior motives?" I ask. I began pacing, while biting my nails which is a bad habit of mine.
